Not much help
The book had mostly just three options for all the feng shui problems - to put full length mirror or to put wind chimes (but away from anyones head) or to use crystals. Any corner missing do one of the above, any worng feng shui do one of the above, any ba gua problem do one of the above, any ghost feeling do one of the above, any problems in life do one of the above in the particular bagua section. I am more then confused about Bagua, and completely clueless what my house feng shui is. May be of help to people who are already aware of the Feng shui principles and chineses culture but not for new ones like me. Too much information but too little output from book.

Excellent source of clear and understandable information.
I am fascinated by feng shui and only knew a little about it, so was very happy to review this book. It is excellent in that it is very approachable and easy to understand, while at the same time it goes into all the aspects of the philosophy and practice of feng shui, which is very much a philosophy that is outside our western view of how the world works. And it is really very interesting indeed.I especially like that the book covers the principles and practice for both inside and outside spaces. Most books only cover the home, but the front and back garden (if you have them) are also important spaces - and it has been fascinating to learn all the things that can be done to facilitate the flow of energy outside the home as well as inside. And it also looks at how to set up your office or workspace. Of course it is rarely possible to ensure the structure of a home or office is laid out within the principles of good feng shui unless you are a self-builder, but there certainly is an awful lot we can do to support or counteract that, from how we follow the principles when we lay out the interior and when we plan our gardens - and this helpful book walks you through it all. I've recently moved house and am using the book nearly every day at the moment. It's brilliant.

Interesting and Inspiring!
I've dipped in and out of light reads on this before and decided to really commit to it this time. As a pretty organised person who is quite obsessive about tidying and sorting and making efficient storage spaces, a lot of this I was able to simply nod along to or speed-read very quickly i the knowledge it wasn't something I needed to be convinced about or change. But the less obvious side of it that sits outside of simply logical good practice for clean and tidy spaces is quite interesting and I've really enjoyed learning more about that and reading the finer points, the explanation of personal and environmental energy and suggestions about connecting to your space for better harmony. Not always easy in a busy home environment with a family but this books provides a lot of useful tips and advice for most situations including this and a really useful focus on the workplace too. I love the simplicity of different sections and where they focus - I really enjoyed the section on colour and meanings in different spaces before then wandering around the house checking all the colours against this, being amazing by some of the obvious correlations and then making a mental note of which colours in certain spaces should probably be updated!Whether it's for a new input on being creative with your space, general interest or for specific goals, the book is really easy to follow and either read from start to finish or dip and out into specific areas. It's a good price for a nice big book too and one I'm glad to have for reference.
