First time mom here. Nobody really prepares you for the week AFTER the miracle of childbirth. These were a lifesaver!The following part of the review may be "too much information" for some, but it is pertinent to my experience. My hospital handed out great supplies in terms of large absorbent pads and ice packs, but unfortunately they didn't send me home with any of their magical mesh panties. Enter this product. What a lifesaver. It allowed me to load up the area with all the pads and cool packs I needed, providing enough elasticity to support me and my extra baggage, but loose enough to not feel uncomfortable. Plus it gave me the added bonus of not worrying about bleeding on my own clothing, since I could use these and toss them after a day. (I'm sure some people may find ways to wash and re-use them, but I didn't think it was worth it). I wore these for a good 2 weeks after childbirth. And I will be doing it for at least as long whenever baby #2 decides to come along!!!Note on sizing -- I weighed about 135-140lb after delivery and chose the L/XL size in order to have room for pads and ice packs -- it ended up being the perfect size...I wouldn't have wanted them to be any tighter.

I had a c-section and quickly realized i hadnt taken enough mesh underwear home from the hospital. Luckily, these are just like the ones from the hospital! These do run small. I am 4'11" and 2 weeks postpartum at 160 lbs I definitely needed the large/xlarge. The small would fit someone who is really thin. Yes, they stretch a lot but i for one don't want anything tight around my belly or incision.

I bought these to wear after a hysterectomy, and wished I'd asked the hospital for an extra pair instead. Unlike the hospital version, these aren't mesh but rather a tightly woven fabric that's thicker than most underwear. Other reviews said they ran small so I sized up to L/XL. As is common, post surgery my abdomen was pretty swollen. Despite sizing up, the waistband hit exactly at my belly button incision and didn't go past the highest incision. The legs also had a tendency to roll up. I ended up using these once my swelling decreased (2 weeks post-surgery) and mostly when washing the ones I got at the hospital. For reference, I'm 5'8" and 137 pounds; swelling was about the size of 4 month pregnancy.

My wife had a planned C-section, and we knew we'd have bandages to hold on, and didn't want low-waisted panties to rub on the c-section wound.These were worn, and re-worn, surviving many cycles through the washing machine without issue. These were high-wasited enough to not interfere with the healing of her wound, and sufficiently comfortable.5 stars, product is advertised and did its job.

I was sent home from the hospital with mesh panties, but certainly not enough to last me until I was healed enough to go back to regular underwear. I am so glad I bought a couple of boxes of these. They were comfortable and a definite must for my early post partum days. I will absolutely buy them again for any additional pregnancies.

I purchased these to help after my recovery from hysterectomy surgery -- was looking for something similar to what was provided in the hospital. These were very comfortable, and the high waist was just the trick to keep my incisions covered for the first few weeks of recovery.

I purchased these for after my home birth. They worked well, and served their purpose well. I wish I knew that they would be a little snug as I would have ordered bigger ones. I used the sizing guide (and shrank a ton after having the baby!) but they were still a little tighter than my postpartum belly liked. All in all, if I were to have a need again I would buy these again, but a size larger.

Perfect for post-partum recovery. I had a cesarean section and therefore needed comfy clothes, especially around my waistline. These undies also provided enough coverage to support the large feminine pads I needed to wear for several weeks after. You can get a few pairs at the hospital before you leave, but it was great to have a few extra at home for once those ran out.
