Pro Impact Curved Focus Mitts - Shock Absorbent Training Hand Pads - Ideal for Karate Boxing MMA Muay Thai or Fighting Sports Training Genuine and PU Leather

This is the first time I write a review. I have been training with my daughter for 6 years (Karate) and through the years we have used many mitts/pads ie. Adidas, RDX, Everlast, UFC. When I purchased these, I was looking for the right size and the best quality. The Adidas I own are mostly for kicking. They are large, cover my forearm and made of leather. The RDX pad is made of leather with gel padding. It has beautiful colors, excellent craftsmanship, but it is too bulky and warms the hands after wearing for a while. I also have RDX micro mitts which are not made of leather but are excellent for traveling, Everlast are ok - comfortable, soft and lightweight. UFC are comfortable, soft, lightweight not durable. Pro Impact has excellent quality, perfect size, well-made leather and made for professionals. At the beginning, they were a little too tight for my hands but after breaking them in, they feel comfortable. The padding is a little hard if they are going to be used without gloves. I do not recommend these mitts for small children. My daughter is 15 and she can handle them empty handed but only because she has had manny years of makiwara training. The curve in the mitt is perfect. Pro Impact has now become the preferred mitts when we train and I recommend them for all who are interested..

I chose the genuine leather set they look pretty decent not cheap looking but not exactly high quality either. The main problem I had with these mitts were the feel of the hit. It feels very disconnected, my feeling is that this comes from the padding that was added to the palm of the glove. Whatever material this is and however it is joined with the mitt leave a very disconnected feeling for both the striker and the holder. Also the listing shows there is wrist protection which there is but no padding. So even through the pad extends to protect the bottom of the wrist there is no padding there so your wrist will still take impact and go into flexion from the strike. For these reasons I can't recommend these mitts to anyone serious about their training. In this price point I feel its decent but not the best value nor quality amongst it's competitors. I think the Everlast Elite or Everlast Elite Mini are a much better buy for the feel and quality.Pros:build quality was nicestraps are well placed and hold wellsemi shock absorbantCons:Feels "disconnected"

These are good mitts. I'm still breaking them in, but they seem very durable. Folks have remarked that they like punching them when I hold too. I'm only giving them four stars because I struggle to get my hand inside one of the mitts. I don't know if it's a defect in the mitt, or if there's something still for me to adjust. I don't worry too much about that because I have large hands, and most mitts are hard to fit on me. I've bought cheaper mitts that held up well, but started to really stink after a while. I chose these mitts because they're leather, and I've had better luck with my leather gloves not stinking quite so much. So hopefully leather mitts will be the same way!

I am update this after using them but I just got them today and am pretty disappointed in the color. Thecokor in the photos is a GORGEOUS burnt orange and black. The the truce and are clearly RED and black. Stop nice, but what attracted me to them was price and the pretty burnt orange color. Photos are VERY misleading.

great, comfortable mitts! All off the benefits of the larger, more cushioned mitts but still pretty small and light. Has really helped my joints feel better. Coaching multiple high impact, non-stop classes and sessions per day, these mitts have really stood up to it all so far!!!

Wanted to begin by saying that I was very pleased with the entire process of acquiring these Pro ImpactFocus Mitts. They arrived in excellent shape and went straight to the Gym. I train a Pro Welterweight Fighternamed Mark Dawson who punches more like a Light Heavyweight so we def need a sturdy mitt that can hold up!And this is it.. Good fit for my Mid to Large hands, with no slip offs during punch sequences! Would deff recommendas a quick moving, sturdy mitt for any trainer!

I can understand the great reviews for these mitts. At first I was skeptical since I have never heard of this brand. However, these things are the real deal. These mitts are light and fit great for a small to medium hand (asian hand). When hitting these there is a large amount of padding. This causes my trainer or girlfriend to work with me for numerous rounds for minimal discomfort. This also means I don't have to hold back as much when the girlfriend does it for me. Though there is a bit of padding, there is still a good rebound-POP from hitting these bad boys. When you first see the mitts they look heavy, but strangely they feel like an extension of the hand and flail effortlessly through the air.The only con I can see is that people with large hands may be uncomfortable till they break them in. Otherwise, there is no break in necessary.Worth every dime, they way these things have lasted a month of consistent training. I can see these lasting years.

Only 1 mitt arrived. The description clearly said sold as a pair. These are not worth $45 each. Also you will not be able to wear hand wraps inside of these because they are too tight. Very disappointed. Another review I read had the same issue with shipping. I will return them and buy Title or RDX brand

Echtes robustes Leder das nicht gleich klebt, stinkt und sich nicht so ausleiert wie Kunstleder. Aussprühbar mit Alkoholdesinfekt. Und vor allem: kein AbfärbenDämpft vernünftig, verliert man nicht gleich wenns mal rauer wird und für mich das beste: guter Schutz für das Handgelenk wenn das Gegenüber im Eifer des Gefechts mal vorbeihämmert

Buenas y resistentes.. pero col pasar del tiempo no se mueldan..protegen bien las manos.. y se puede entrenar bien fuertes.. precio bueno..
