The parts were exactly what we wanted, the service was excellent and the price affordable.

Exact fit for factory replacement. Arrived earlier than scheduled, not a surprise there at all. Simple to swap out. USE CORRECT TORQUE SETTINGS ON THE BOLT. This part is designed to fail to avoid destroying the engine on the mower. The original lasted about 6 years. We will see how this one holds up.

The blade adapter should come in 1- piece not 2- adapters. I only need one and I was forced to buy the 2-pieces that comes in the package.Good sales marketing but it is bad for the customers view and not reasonable to buy 2-pieces.Can I return the other piece of adapter that I do not need?Please advise.

Perfect fit for Husqvarna HU800AWD, with Honda 190 gvc motor, and made out of steel. Will have to see how long it holds up. Torqued it to 45 ft lbs, as suggested by others on here.

Purchased 3 last summer from a dealer, non of which made it more than 10 ft and I paid more for them. I just mowed my entire yard with no issues. Thank you!

Quality part. Reasonably priced. And it fit my HU800awdh Husqvarna mower.

The adapter's metal "star" is made of five individual "spokes" of softer metal welded onto/into five indents made on the Star Blade Adapter. If the case-hard mounting bolt is torqued to proper specs, the blade will operate correctly unless is impacts a dirt mound, rock, stump, fence post, lake, etc.. It will shear at the designed resistive force. For convenience, buy several spares when you replace the first. If you over-tighten the hardened bolt after the star is sheared in an attempt to secure the blade, a strong impact will shear-off the top of the case hard bolt, leaving the bolt's threaded section embedded deep in the engine's driveshaft. Known from experience. Hit a hard object like a buried stump or fence post, or if you attempt to cut aquatic weeds to a 3" depth beyond the shoreline, the star will by design shear, by design to will prevent a bent shaft (which would typically terminate the average household mower). Again, experience. Please stop blaming the safety designed star blade adapter for doing it's job. It is protecting the mower and people who may not have known better.

Exactly what is advertised

I bought two of these blade adapters. Put the first one on and it survived about 3 times cutting the grass. Replaced it this past Monday, started to cut the grass on Saturday and was able to mow about 1/4 of the front yard and it sheared all the lugs off. Went to the local mower repair shop, paid $20 for a new part and finished the job. Two adapters for $30 was too good to be true!! My dad always said, you get what you pay for. He was right!!

Don't know how long it will last but appeared as expected and was easily installed; a good value for the money

First one was DOA. The other one was/is fine. Torqued to 45 ft lbs

I purchased two of these from a different business -- they were lighter, and neither lasted long enough to finish my lawn once. This part was much better quality -- in fact I hit a rock that stalled out my mower, but it didn't damage my new part. This is a very good quality part, at least as good as the original.However Husqvarna's design is such that I have had to replace the adapter, on two different mowers four times.

A+ experience for me. Saw lots of reviews that indicated a lighter weight or inferior product. What I received was nearly exact to 1lb, same as the original piece I replaced on my HU800AWD.

I work and helping people out and this is a good buy it makes it easier on customers to spend that little bit of money to spending a lot more the same product
