Samsung Tab A8 Wi-Fi 8 Inch - Black

My tablet charging port stopped working after 3 months. I tried to contact the seller, but was ignored. I contacted Samsung, who were going to send an engineer to my house to fix it for free, until I gave them the serial number. Samsung told me that it was a non-European tablet and therefore uses different parts, microchips, etc. and their engineers did not have the correct tools to fix it. As it was under warranty, they told me to contact my seller for a refund or replacement......6 months later, I've got no where! No refund, no replacement. They don't even want me to return it to them. VERY DODGY SELLER! They have ignored pretty much all of my messages and Amazon messages.

Best tablet ever. Very good size for me to take at work and watch movies, really does what I was looking for from a 8 inch tablet( I have 10 inch 2016 to but is to big).

I personally wish l had purchased another Fire 8, problem swiping to unlock this Samsung tablet, flaming annoying.

Love this. I've had a Samsung Galaxy Tab A for a couple of years and am an avid gamer. It got too difficult to play both the games I play to their full extent so bought this for Big Farm and the original is for Merge Dragons. Both play well on these devices even though the OS on the original one is no longer updated. The Tab A8 is way lighter and smaller than my original but the screensize does not feel much reduced, probably because the home and back buttons are on the screen rather than the body now. The downside of that is that when I type I quite often hit back instead of the keyboard space button and lose all my text. User error though.

just what I was looking for. Small enough to travel with and enough battery life to complete the journeys

Good for the price. Came with 'portrait' mode as default, but I have added a third party app that allows the screen to rotate. Came out in 2019 with 2016 charger, i.e. not a USB Type C charger and thus, cannot be plugged into most other 2019 chargers

An excellent tablet. I had a Samsung galaxy tablet 3 before which was getting out of date. I bought the tab A 2019 and it was very easy to set up you have the choice to upload apps from phone on previous tablet I chose my phone which just meant pressing that option and took only minutes to upload. Has excellent battery life and charges quickly. An excellent tablet and I would recommend to a friend.

I purchased this tablet a few months ago primarily to use for reading, online shopping and listening to music. I don't use it a huge amount - probably an hour every 3 days. What I am finding incredibly frustrating is the touch screen is not working well - you often have to tap several times to get something to pause / open / etc! I have a shatter glass on the screen for protection - but surely that wouldn't affect the touch pad? What really pushed me over the edge though is listening to music yesterday the volume suddenly started going up and down on it's own! Nothing I did would stop it. Faulty?
