Amazing!
Quite possibly the coolest lego set ever.My 5 and 8 year old kids and I had a great time putting this together a few weeks ago and he has been playing with it ever since. The research boat really does float in the tub and it has been used it in every bath since we put it together along with sharks, the diver cage, and the mini-submarines.I highly recommend this set for any kid looking for something that is challenging but fun to assemble and even more fun to play with once it is complete.

Great set. Lots of play value. Lots of sharks!
This was a family christmas present: everyone got to put together something. The big boat is "tub safe", and although the "wreck" may not stay on the bottom of the tub, and will hold some water after you pull it out, the whole set is fun in the bath.

Great Toy!
My grandson absolutely loved it, but so many, many pieces. He put it together, though, all by himself. The directions were easy to follow so assembly went well. It ended up in the hot tub, so don't know what kind of shape it is in now. The beauty of these Lego sets is they can be any thing a child wants them to be.My only complaint is Legos are so darn spendy!

For a shipwreck-loving boy
My five year old son got this for Christmas. He helped put it together, but definitely needs an adult to do most of the work. The boat holds together well. The shipwreck, not so much, but maybe that's the point. The directions were nice and clear, and Legos are great for that--it's actually fun to build them again.

High value collection set. perfect first build for our 5yo. Still loving it months later. lots in one box
My 5yo should write this review. He had to be torn away from building time to eat on multiple days (he would work around meals for 9 hours at a whack on building this himself - and finished in 3 days). this was his first lego set that he did start to finish on his own - and he could not be stopped. He got it as a xmas gift belated (with xmas money). He followed the clear step-by-step picture directions and assembled this on his own. Months later he is still playing with it. For the cost (compare lego sets), this set comes with SO very much and so much to play with. I am continually impressed. Simple but good deal

EASILY THE BEST LEGO SET
This set is amazing. the Vessel is something special. building this with my son was even fun for me! the details Lego put into this design was impressive and so well though out.Only downside is that the shipwreck didn't stay together as desired. It's an odd shape with two large plates to keep it together and it's hard to move around. Other than that.. very cool.

Legos are awesome.
I have 3 children, all boys. They ar every fortunate to have many many toys, hobbies, and things to keep them busy and entertained. Out of all of these things, all 3 ALWAYS choose Legos. They are literally obcessed!! They play building things for hours. It also helps with focus and fine motor skills. I highly recommend Legos.
