Comfortable
My husband has a difficult time finding shoes that fit right. He went with the wide and it fit him perfectly. He wears them almost every day and says they're comfortable. So far they appear to be of good quality.

These are the best shoes I have ever owned
I've always been tough on shoes, and have purchased other premium brands in the past. After three or four months they usually start to split at the seams on the sides. Even expensive shoes. I've spent $140, $160, and $200 on shoes before and they still wouldn't last all that long. Also I needed waterproof shoes since I walk my dog 800 miles a year in a rainy climate where it rains all the time. Even the most expensive shoes I've purchased previously would start losing their waterproofing abilities before six months. My current pair of Oboz shoes are going on over a year and a half now, with no side seam splitting and they still keep my feet dry. But nothing lasts forever, they are looking pretty tattered and dirty and they stay wet on the outside, but not on the inside, if that makes sense. I'll clean them and spray them again and keep wearing wearing them every day like I have been at my construction job. But I just now ordered a brand new pair! They'll be my going out on the town shoes. Yes, I should mention that these look great as well. So for durability, waterproofing, comfort and reasonable break it time (the soles will feel a little hard at first and need to break in) I highly recommend these Oboz shoes. I think these will by my fourth pair, so I finally think that I owe them a good review.

Rugged high quality shoe
Have purchased this shoe twice a year for almost a decade. It’s the only shoe I found that keeps my feet from pronating and prevents my knees from bothering me. Not cheap but outstanding quality.

Excellent for cold wet rough terrain
My feet are picky and not comfortable in that big shoes. I have had foot surgeries and need a support and cushion, plus she does not dig up into the Achilles. Even though I don’t like the color, I love these shoes. I normally like a shoe that looks still little more attractive, but even then, it does not bother me at all because these shoes are so comfortable. And I would call them unattractive — they just look like hiking shoes. Around here, people wear a lot of sport, outdoor tech outfits and often just a little more slick looking, but I actually almost prefer the utilitarian look of these. There’s something extremely comfortable about the dread, which I never thought would factor into how comfy she is. I have never felt so stable in a shoe. I don’t slip anywhere, and that causes me to walk much better. Sometimes good sturdy shoes are too stiff. That is not the case with these. I do not know how they accomplish it, but they are extremely supportive well also being perfectly walkable, with just enough give in the sole. They also are not heavy or clunky, which has been a problem with some sturdy hiking shoes. I would say they are a bit heavier than mesh/running shoes, but not bothersome, and I am sensitive to that. There’s definitely enough arch support in cushion so that I can wear these all day. I often go out to this farmland area and have to walk around on mud and in wet grass, gopher holes, wind, rough terrain. Kept my feet perfectly warm and dry more than any other shoe ever has. It is awesome to walk around outside in these. I often prefer a shoe with a teeny tiny bit of wedge platform, like I have half inch because somehow that is the most comfortable. I was almost exclusively, wearing Softwalk shoes, with occasionally a couple other comfortable options. These shoes are an exception; somehow they are extremely comfortable to me, even though they are not the slight wedge or the softwalk brand. I do not think I have particularly sweaty feet, so I can’t really comment on the probability, except to say that they are definitely more breathable than neoprene or rubber boots, which I would sweat in. I don’t sweat in these.

Too small and WAY too narrow.
Awsome looking shoes! US made! Very well built! .....but. I bought my usual size, too small and way too narrow. Bought another pair one half size up. Same issue. Ordered a wide in the half size up. Same. Still way too narrow. So much so that it hurt to walk. I really wanted to like these! Maybe I got 3 bad ones... I do have a titanium toe joint that makes my feet hurt more than other people. I dont have this issue with other shoes. Again great shoes .. Just not for me.

Loved the overall shoe but...
Fit was great but had a bit of discomfort on the top of the shoe. Not sure if that would go away after some wear but with only 30 days to return didn't want to take a chance. Liked the style and look of the shoe and very comfortable on bottom of feet.

Love my Oboz, happy to have found a company better quality then Merrell and Keen!
I've worn these shoes for 2 months now and absolutely love them. Great quality and fit. I've worn merells and keens previously. The Merrells came apart very quickly in the first few months. The keens lasted nearly 2 years and were comfortable but not as supportive as these Oboz. For those that don't know these are made in the USA. That was a selling point for me as I would rather support the small US company then Chinese offshore. I've worn these outdoors primarily on dirt and rock and some concrete. They performed great on all surfaces. They insulate really well while worn on a airport tarmac. -great fit with NO break in at all -ton of support and very cushy outsole -these feel good enough to run in -waterproof, I tested them a few times this fire season ONLY negative: The insoles have little holes in them for breathability but some of the holes don't go all the way thru. If you work on sandy surfaces dirt and sand will get down into the shoe and fill those holes. You will always have to pull the insole out and shake it out. Not a huge deal but some some.

Great, comfortable, durable shoes!
Great shoes. They take about a week to break in with the area around the laces uncomfortable. After that they are the comfortable for work and daily wear. I rarely wear tennis shoes now. I am going on my 5th pair, with each pair lasting me about 2 years, with daily wear. I get a half size larger than my Asics/New Balance running shoes.

I’ve been wearing Oboz boots for about 4 years now and find them perfect for my active urban lifestyle. I regularly walk more than 10000 steps daily in both commuting to work and urban hiking. These boots give great support and traction and are great winter boots. I get about 1 year per pair and these are living up to my expectations.

These are tough well made, wide-fit shoes, with a great hard-wearing sole. I use them for day-to-day dog walking. They're very stiff but with thick socks, I find them comfortable. Great price for a quality hard-wearing shoe. I bought them to replace my Mendl shoes which fell apart after a few months of use.

I love Oboz. If you have wide feet, Oboz is the shoe for you ( Keen is good too). I do like the sole a bit better on the Oboz, and I do think they last a bit longer.
