Easy to install and works great.
They are easy to install, work well and can be trimmed to a shorter length if needed. I used them to protect various nylon tubing lines from the exhaust system from a small gas motor. Excellent product for the application.

Great products and some tips if you need to cut it.
If you need to cut this shorter to fit here is a trick to keep it from fraying.1) Get some liquid electrical tape.2) Mark on the fiberglass weave side where you plan to cut it. A jiffy market works well for this.3) Paint over that marking with the liquid electrical tape. You will notice the liquid tape wicks into the fiberglass mesh quickly. Go right over the velcro and threading. Edge to edge.4) Let the liquid tape setup, it does so pretty quickly. I usually give it an hour or so.5) Then cut where needed through this coated area. The rubber from the liquid electric tape will prevent fraying of the fiber mesh as well as velcro and stitching as it's wicked into it and locked the fibers together.

Works great
Use for oil lines and fuel lines next to exhaust: works perfectly. Just zip tie the ends so they don’t come loose.

Time will tell
I just put this on, so I can't speak just yet to the performance of it, but I can speak to the use and installation.Having the Velcro (hook and loom) is outstanding! it makes installation so much easier. Though, in tight areas, it is a real pain to try and get it wrapped over and closed well. So if you can wrap the wires out of the vehicle first, do so.This doesn't negate the need for convoluted tubing though.. sure, you can just wrap this around a bunch of loose wires, but your best bet is to install the wires in tubing and then wrap that with the sleeve. It will be the best look and the best protection for the wires. The variable size makes the sleeve very versatile!so why the missing star? If you cut the sleeve to length (which you're going to do, let's be honest)... The stitching starts to come undone at the end for the hook and loom, making it a weak closure. So you can either break out the needle and thread, or let it ride. Either way, I recommend doing this:1. If you have to cut.... Only cut from one end of the tubing, leave the other end factory.2. Have enough length so that the sleeve ends well away from concerning heat sources.3. Have the cut end away from heat sources and leave the factory sewn end at the hottest end point.
