Cable Drum Machine, 1/2" x 100'

I live in a very old house with a very, very old main line. I purchased this unit because I was tired of going to the big box store and renting one. Always required two trips to the big box store, once to get and once to return. I was tired of lifting it in and out of the truck and all of the associated hassle. Typically, I have snaked my main line once or twice per year.I have used this machine twice, both times removing the blockage which was out about 97 feet. I had no problems and saved a bunch of my time. Over the years, if this unit hold up, it will pay for itself.Update Feb 1, 2018.On the 3rd use, cable snapped 90 feet into the drain. Thank goodness it broke near the machine and I was able to muscle the cable out of the drain. Not sure why it broke? Defective cable? Should not happen. Cost over $200 for replacement cable. Should have purchased 3/4" machine. 100' is apparently to long for 1/2". Had the cable broken off down the line, would have been a nightmare to get out. Very disappointed.
