Carbon Fiber Throw Levers Compatible for Vortex Optics

The mag rings on both of my Vortex Vipers are stiff and can be a real pain in the butt when varmint hunting. This throw lever has made magnification changes a breeze for me. Being a perfect fit for my Viper VPR, easy to install and very well made, I would, without hesitation, recommend an MK Machining throw lever to anyone that is looking for one for his rig. I'm a happy camper. Yep.

The notch shown in the picture does not exist on the items they send. I returned the first one describing the issue and they sent the same one again. I returned that one too but I don't think I ever got a refund. Without the notch, it does not fit.

It's not carbon fiber but it works great on my Strike Eagle.

This throw lever is extremely tuff and lightweight. It is printed from their proprietary carbon fill. The Achille’s heal is the interface with the Viper PST Gen II magnification ring. The throw lever is smooth on the inside and really relies on torque for the lever to not spin on the scope. MK warns you about not over torquing the bolt but you have to or it will spin freely. I think the product is good and will probably work better on different scopes.

Order completed quickly and arrived 2 days ahead of what was predicted. Fit was good and the function is solid. Changing power on the Strike Eagle is much easier and faster with this on it. Big help in 3gun matches where every little timer saver helps. Can’t beat the price either.

It says carbon fiber, can you 3D print carbon fiber? These are obviously 3D printed, cheap throw levers. Mine was so bulky that I couldn't even open the bolt on my rifle, the throw lever was in the way. After considerable re-shaping on a sanding wheel, I was able to make it work. I've worked carbon fiber before and this is just 3D printed plastic. It couldn't cost them more than $1 to make one of these. The screw they used isn't even treated against corrosion, it'll rust if it gets wet. I've modified mine so I can't return it, but as soon as I can find a better one, it's coming off. I would not buy this again.

Its good but big in size. Althou its good and like to use it.

It didn't come with a key for the screw. After trying 11 (I counted) different keys I had from different optics, I find a flat head I use on PC parts that worked. The nut immediately fell off and was never found again. Throw away part.

Decent price but be aware you need to make sure it fits your scope lol…
