Soldering Iron Holder/Soldering Iron Stand

Needed this

Not strong enough to hold a wood burning pen. Needed to attached it too a piece of wood just to give it some stability.

I used it for first time and found that the base was way too light. It’s fine if your soldering pencil is extremely light, but mine isn’t and if the cord drooped down, it tilted back. Rather than attempt a return, I will mount it to a block of wood because it needs more weight or mass.

Works as it should.

After I received this , I thought it was to big. After using it with my wood burner , I couldn't believe how safe it was to use it. I have cats and they are always around my work area. I was afraid they would get hurt with the use of my burner and the reason i bought this product. My cat walked by it and rubbed up against the stand while my burner was inside the holder. No danger to my cats gives this product a very happy customer. The metal base allowed me to use a magnet to hold the product in place.

It works fine for small irons and does what I want for a reasonable price.

I used this while soldering. It kept the hot tip away from me or anything unintended. The wee sponge helped to clean the tip. I would recommend this tool to beginners or experienced crafters for soldering.

I bought this to hold a wood burning tool. Does the job but because it is so light weight it constantly falls over. I'm going to try to put something on it to weigh it down, but if it keeps falling over I will trash it.

Item sturdier than initially thought (had one before, but not comparable to this)...had to replace the foam pad with a thicker one....again, it's worth the money spent...
