Madison M8700 Plastic Side-Mounted Liquid Level Float Switch with Polypropylene Stem, 30 VA SPST, 1/2" x 1/2" NPT Male, 100 psig Pressure

Works exactly the way it's suppose to. Installed this along with a 1/2" bulkhead to my water tank for my pressure washer. I wanted something to protect my pump from running dry "just in case" I didn't notice the water getting low. Installed the bulkhead and switch just above the tank outlet bulkhead and it does exactly what it was designed to before the water gets to low and the pump runs dry. Now I can rest easier knowing I can work without worrying if the tank is still keeping up with my pressure washer. If the engine shuts down out of nowhere then it's a sign the water is low but it also protects my $800 pump.

If you want a level sensor that activates when the water level gets to it - DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. Ours needed 12-inches of submergence to activate which puts it far beyond safety limits. I've never seen a side mount level sensor that needed that much submergence to activate. AVOID THIS PRODUCT. The installation and removal have already cost me more than 10 times what I spent on it.

Worked perfectly for what I wanted - it was a replacement float for my Pump control (it gives indication to pump controls so the pump does not run dry).

Does exactly what it is designed to do. Appears to be reliable.

Worked and fit as it should.

The only thing I don't like about is that I didn't buy it first. It is built to last!
