Took time, but worked great!
I used these edible paints to paint details on chocolate cars and tires for my four-year-old’s birthday cake. These paints were extremely hard to use. Mainly because they are very diluted, and it is not recommended on chocolate. However, when mixed with edible powder colors, the paint turned out vibrant and coded the chocolates well. I have chromatic, edible paint powder that I use to decorate my confections. I highly suggest that when you buy this paint, you get something similar when working with chocolate. The paint works really well on butter cream icing! Depending on the layers of color, you can make water color like effects to even acrylic like detail. Definitely practice before applying to your final product. Overall it was a lengthy, fun experience.

A little sheer
Love these paints! I used them to decorate a birthday cake and they worked great. They’re a little sheer when using on white fondant, so I mixed each color with a small drop of the white paint to make it more opaque. Overall good paints!

Very messy and did not work well.
I was really excited about these and based on the price expected they would be really good! However, they have not worked out well for me. They leak constantly, no matter how i fix the lid so i have to store them standing up at all times. But then when I go to shake them up, as you are supposed to before using, the paint somehow sprays out from under the lid getting everywhere. I did not enjoy the paint itself either. It dries fast on the palette and gets clumpy but is thin on the fondant. Overall pretty disappointed ☹

Awful.
It tasted terrible. And stained everything very badly. My grandchildren are very disappointed.
