Good beginners kit
Good starter kit, has lots of tools to use. In my opinion it’s a good kit for beginners and if you are getting into it would recommend to buy better quality items as you go on. After using these tools you will know which ones you need a better quality and will be ones you won’t even use.I purchased a separate leather sawing kit and been using both.Would recommend!

A sample platter
Good general kit for starting out. I bought this to get “a little of everything” as I’m new to leatherworking. If that’s your angle, I’d say this is worth it but there are better kits out there if you have an idea what you want and can buy something more focused. Chances are, you don’t if you’re new but this kit allowed me to see clearly what I needed to fill out my various needs and there are few things I haven’t used at all in the week I’ve had it.Do be waned these are not super high quality tools. They get the job done for simple projects, but in time you will want better options if you find you enjoy it. As examples, the stamping tools are roughly cast, giving patchy patters with small lumps or gaps. there’s only one proper leather needle in the sewing kit, limited numbers of rivets require almost immediate refills, skiving tools are very basic, hole punches are a bit blunt etc etc. These are small gripes honestly, and I had fun trying out all the options at my disposal, which for me was the point. If that’s you, then this kit is a solid starting point.

Great Start
Looking forward to trying this out, all the parts look good quality apart from 1 issue with a loose handle on the awl (not an issue.)Nice looking stamps nice and weighty. Exactly what i was hoping for..Well packaged without escessive packaging,

Quality lets this product down
The quality of some of the artifacts a less than ideal and look poorly put together or even rushed without any care for its quality. In the product explanation it is stated "The 40 sets snap fasteners kit are divided into 4 colors: gold, silver, bronze and black, each with 10 sets", yet this is not the case or I was left short a few items. In total I got 24 silver, 2 gold and 6 brass fasteners. As you can see this was not the 40 sets of 4 colours each having 10 sets. The 25mm hammer is slightly cut off center on its shaft so is at an odd angle and the rubber section of the hammer screws in low from the center of the base so it does not line up and looks shabby.I know it is a starting kit but like any product I would expect a little more care given towards the quality of each item so that the customer gets satisfaction and may come back to buy more goods from the seller. If you believe this review to be unfair then I shall gladly send you images of the products and the faults I see in them. One last thing the seller can do is simply attach a single sheet to explain each tool and how it works, by words or pictures as it would be very helpful to beginners.I still found some of the items good to use and handy to have in such a large purches.

No manual
Would be better for beginners if it had tool manual to tell you what each tool as I am just starting out and have no clue what each tool does

Very good
I bought this as a present for my boyfriend and he loved it! He has, so far, done a chisel roll.

Not worth the money
This is quite a large set of tools marketed for beginners to Leathercraft. In short, do not buy this set.-To be blunt, the tools provided would struggle to cut butter, let alone leather. Get yourself a decent art knife instead.-The carving cools are okay, but largely are blunt and struggle even on thin leather. Also, an absolute beginner probably won't need these anyway so early on. When you do get them, invest in a decent set.-The sewing kit is the best part of the kit (hence 2 stars) - the thread is waxed nicely which is good, but the needles provided are next to useless and will probably break quickly with any leather above 1.5mm in thickness.-The rivets etc. are fine, not the best quality but okay for beginners. You can source these cheaply from elsewhere though. The useful elements of this kit can all be bought elsewhere for less than the overall cost of this kit - and they actually work. I was extremely disappointed with this set and returned it after finding it essentially useless.
