I saw this advertised all over insta and thought give it a whirl, what’s the worst that could happen? Soon as it arrived I had a full makeup therapy session (you know when you’ve got your music on, peace and tranquility in your sacred space). First thought before trying it was ‘it won’t be that great, but accept and move on’. Boy, oh boy, was I shocked! The sponge didn’t soak up my foundation, it melted beautifully, no sponge marks, no pilling, no sliding the primer about and no streaks! The foundation (Mac Studio fix) looked like my skin but better. Using the sponge for my concealer, again I was expecting the worst (I have dry under eyes) but again this sponge came through! No creasing, no piling, no shifting the foundation from underneath, again pure perfection! I gave using it for powder and powder highlighter too (I usually use a puff) and again, did not disappoint! The sponge blended everything is all seamlessly! I’ve tried most beauty sponges and I’ve never really fallen in love with a certain brand or type, this sponge. This sponge has changed the game! I just wish there was a subscription!

This is a great blotting sponge. Its not like the blending sponges that you apply makeup with. You don't need to dampen it. It's great

I have wanted one of these blending sponges for such a long time. Finally got one and I'm happy with it. I don't think it's any better than ordinary beauty sponges - but it is more convenient because it can be used dry.

Very disappointed, not worth the money. Was excited to try this as have heard good things but unfortunately it’s not for me. You can buy just as good at the drug store for a lot less.

Oooo this is marvellous. I was skeptical about spending so much on a makeup sponge & wondered how it could be much different to a cheap beauty blender but it pushes your foundation into your pores & gives a smooth beautiful finish. An absolute must for my makeup kit

This has made a huge huge difference to the way i apply my makeup - a real worthwhile investment

Initially I liked the idea of not having to wet this sponge but when I tried to clean (as per instructions) it tore far too easily. It’s no robust enough to clean without tearing.

This is such a versatile makeup sponge. Absolutely love it. Easy to clean as well. Can definitely recommend.

Awesome, although doesn’t last long

I have been using this sponge to apply my foundation or skin tint since I can remember, at very least 10 years probably more like over 20 years! This sponge does it all. With most products 1 pump is all you need to spread over the entire face. I sometimes use my foundation brush to blend out around the hairline and down my neck. One sponge lasts forever! It is so simple to re-purchase direct from Amazon. The price and next day delivery are on point! If you go to the Stans Out website, they will tempt you with the 4 pack of sponges, but stick to the one SOLO sponge. If I had 4 I would forget where the extra 3 were when it finally became time to replace. As your sponge collects product, you can sometimes use just as is for a light realistic no makeup look. You will love this sponge and how simple it is to use for your base, whatever the product. Can't say enough good things about it, just trust me, buy one and feel the ease of application yourself! One sponge for under $20 is excellent and will last at the very least, one year! I highly recommend.

Really love this sponge. All the different side shapes and dozes make it so easy to blend. Won’t use another sponge after trying this one.
