Hobart 770553 Heavy Duty 120-mm Throat F Clamp, 16-Inch

The functionality of these and all f-clamps is extremely convenient, quick and handy. But these f-clamps are way thinner and cheaper looking and cheaper feeling then the other heavy duty ones we have at the shop. You can tell they are cheap china made. they dont seem to be heavy duty at all and i cant find what weight rating these can handle either. Id recommend Bessey clamps . They are the best but they are pricey

As a iron worker, I have to have good clamps and this one has held up. I have had it for a long while. I ended up getting two of them.The price is good.A speed clamp is hard to beat.

I would not classify them as "Heavy Duty" as stated in the description. Having said that, they are good clamps. Quick to adjust and easy to use for holding welding projects and other medium duty stuff.

Nice clamp wish you could flip the ends around make it a push style too

Good price, works well, one of the two I received had its slide screw foot floating around in the box instead of crimped onto the screw where it belonged, I popped it back on and gave it a squeeze in the vice, it is staying on for now.

Great F clamp... Got this to use while welding (MIG and TIG) since I didn't have anything this length. Would/will buy again (size TBD) as needed. Great value.

I recently needed clamps to hold concrete forms to finish off a window opening. I needed clamps that would span 11 1/2 inches so while searching on-line for "C" clamps I came across the Hobart 770553 Heavy Duty 120-mm Throat F Clamp, 16-Inch. These clamps are easy to adjust over a wide range of opening and were strong enough to give more than adequate clamping forces to hold the forms in place. They are designed for welding work with chromed frames and copper coated screws which also allowed simple cleanup after pouring the concrete. I do plan on using these clamps while welding too. They are well built and I would recommend these to anyone that needs to clamp a wide range of thicknesses and need the extra clamping forces.

I'm very happy with my Hobarts. People said Bessey was the only brand worth buying but these were far less costly and work beautifully!

Things a beast, good quality construction. I expect it to last as long as I have it

It is a big clampity clamp that clamps things that need to be clamped. Just like a Bessey Clamp. I like it.
