Filing a claim was quick and easy!
I used the Asurion protection plan for my waterpic water flosser that I purchased from Amazon in Feb 2023. It stopped working within the 3 year time coverage. I called their contact #. A nice guy named JC took my info for the claim. He slemailed a shipping label. I mailed the product back. Within 24 hours, I received a gift card from Amazon. I used it for a replacement. It was a good investment for me. Thanks Asurion!

Asurion Personal Care Protection Plan reimbursed us for malfunctioning waterpik
Our travel waterpik stopped working, but because we had the Asurion Personal Care Protection, when we returned the malfunctioning waterpik, we received a credit for the entire cost of the item.

I purchased an Asurion warranty when I purchased a TENS unit. I didn't figure I'd really need the warranty, but the unit worked twice and then stopped. My rating of four stars is because the initial process of filing a claim on my defective item was a nightmare. I was told by an Asurion rep to contact Amazon, and an Amazon rep in turn told me to contact an Asurion rep. I forget how many times I went back and forth before I lost my temper, and finally got someone that listened. Once I was given the correct information, the process was pretty straightforward after that. What I didn't realize is that Asurion doesn't replace the product itself. The warranty provides you with a gift card applied to your Amazon account. I guess that's probably a better way to do it anyway. With the TENS unit giving out after only using it twice, I'll be buying one from a different manufacturer.In all, I'm glad I purchased the warranty. It's a very reasonable price to pay in the event something goes wrong with the item you purchase.

Once you understand how claims work and reference number to the items it makes the process easy. I just wish they kept previous chats once you go back into another chat for Information purposes. Overall it felt really good to get most of my money back on somethings that went bad too soon!
