Joe's USA Ladies Moisture-Wicking Track & Field Running Shorts in Sizes: XS-4XL

After reading reviews and looking at my granddaughter's shirts like this, I ordered one size up. Love these shorts for riding my recumbent bike and just everyday wear.

The drawstring and fit was just want I wanted,they are llightweight and worked great for my 10 k run.

Bunches up in the leg area, not the most flattering unless you have a long shirt to hide the bulge it creates. Ordered up and I’m glad I did or they would’ve been too tight around the legs. Not the best for my body but might work for you!

Background and Summary:I am 5' 6" at 120 lbs and run roughly 15-20 miles/week. I usually purchase the Nike running shorts, but figured I would give these a try. I purchased a pair of these shorts three weeks ago.Overall, I would recommend these shorts if you don't mind giving them a tug down every couple miles or so.Pros:They have been worn (and washed) roughly 8-10 times, and seem to be holding up just fine. I typically just hang dry my running shorts, and I have not noticed any problems even with the regular use. They are very comparable to the standard Nike running shorts (in both quality and length) with the leg width feeling a little wider, which I like. When I work up a good sweat, the moisture-wicking does a good job.Cons:The waistband feels a tad bit tighter than the Nike shorts, which contributes to them slightly creeping up my waist while I run (minus one star). However, if I position the shorts a little lower than usual before I run, the shorts definitely seem to ride up less.

I am 5'6" and 122 pounds, usually wear a 6 or 8, and ordered a Medium. I like shorts to be kind of loose, esp. in the waist, and I wear them low on my waist. These are actually a little snug in the waist for my taste (not the experience of other reviewers), but I would order another pair, anyway, and probably will. The dark green color is very nice. Overall, a flattering fit, more so than my older pairs of running shorts.

I've only had these shorts (black with white) for a short time, but I honestly have to say that though I've only worn them a few times, I love them and plan to buy another pair next summer. I had recently purchased another pair of running shorts from another company and they failed to mention that they are opaque... from seam to see-through seam. These appear to be quite durable, lightweight, and have panties sewn to the inside. I'm 5'5" and have a hard time finding shorts that aren't too long or too short; but these come to mid-thigh with a slight flare on the outside seam, so they look classy and will make you feel good when you work out. These shorts will do the trick. As for the sizing, I normally wear a 6, which is what I ordered. ALMOST could have gone with a 4 and I should have, just to compare the two: how they look, too snug, whatever. And especially if you're working out, clothing should not be super tight to restrict blood flow anyway. But I would say these are definitely true to size. Recommended? Oh yeah.

I have been in shape my entire life...until I had my second child. Since then, I have put on weight I have never had to experience in my life. Buying clothes in sizes I never expected has been challenging. I accept I could likely change this buy getting back to my normal exercise routine and eating healthier, but between work and being a single mom, my priority is to spend that time with my girls. With that being said, I have been dying to find comfortable athletic shorts, to no avail. Finally, I found these. After reading the reviews, I begrudgingly ordered a size up, XL to XXL. I chose to ignore the label upon receipt, but when I put them on I am so glad I ordered up. They are flattering and very comfortable! I am very, very happy with this purchase and will likely be purchasing more in different colors.

I agree with an earlier reviewer that these fit like a half size of Nike shorts. I wear a Medium in Nike, which are pretty loose on me, but the smalls are too small. Really I would need like a small and 1/2. That is exactly what these Mediums are - in between Nike small and medium. Perfect fit for me. I am 5'10" 135lb. Quality seems decent. Not as good as Nike but will do the job. Don't ride up much. Look good.
