Lorell Essentials File Cabinet

Cabinet is solid and heavy. The drawer bottoms are sturdy, not cheap thin paneling like some other furniture I’ve purchased in the past. The drawers open and close smoothly, even when filled. It looks and functions nice overall.There are a few negatives, however. It came assembled, but mine arrived with some loose and missing screws. I had to tighten and glue a few pieces on the drawers and slide assemblies. It may have been caused by shipping and it seems like it should hold up well now. I didn’t mind the minor repairs and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of exchanging it, but it is something to keep in mind when ordering.Also the color on the edges of the top piece and side of each drawer does not match the drawer fronts and the main cabinet body. While not a big issue for me, the color difference is noticeable and does kind of cheapen the overall look.

The filing cabinet was great. It matched the desk shell as they said it would. Could not be more happy.

This turned out much more attractive than I expected. The drawer slides are good, the lock is sturdy, and the casters roll well. You'll definitely want a screw gun for assembly though, because they only pre-drill two of the four screw holes for the casters.Also be aware of the weight. This thing is heavy, so you may need help moving and opening the box.

We've recently started a very small business, and needed to have a filing cabinet and something with drawers in our small office. We purchased the 2-file-drawer version of this cabinet, then purchased the 2 this one I'm reviewing.In short, it's a very, very shoddy product. Although the first 2-file-drawer cabinet arrived relatively unscathed (which is why we went ahead with the 2nd cabinet), the 2nd cabinet arrived with an unworking file drawer. Amazon, of course, was amazing and is permitting us to return the defective cabinet. We thought we'd give it another shot, and the replacement arrived today. It, too, is a mess, but at least this time a workable mess.The cabinet has loose screws of unknown origin, ill-fitting drawers, and finishes that are simply embarrassing. If we didn't have the first cabinet, I'd return this one and look for something with more quality. I've uploaded pictures of the sad finish work.I strongly advise anyone not to buy this product, unless you have the desire to return it two, three, or more times.

This arrived to our door looking like it went skydiving without a chute. This is our second product from this manufacturer that arrived destroyed. Don't know if its the amazon warehouse, UPS or its shipped like this but its completely unacceptable.
