I'd been purchasing Nubian Heritage African Black Soap deodorant at my local grocery for 2 yrs. It is potently effective, long-lasting and pleasant on the olfactories! Why my local grocery stopped carrying it, I have on idea! Hence: Amazon ftw!These should be shoved into every middle-schooler's adolescence-awareness giftpack as the benchmark standard for deodorant!

Chemical free, smells good, long lasting. My husband has been using this for years. We buy them in bulk and keep them in the freezer.

Just make sure to use one thin light stroke or you might end up with a caked up whip of this deodorant under your arm like I did. I love this deodorant because it keeps me clean and it smells good

Being Irish with very sensitive skin and little oil production, I've never had a problem with underarm stink unless it's that nervous sweat. But I do enjoy smelling awesome in a not-so-girly way. I gave up on deodorants completely for many years as a shower a day keeps the stink away and deodorants and antiperspirants would cause bumps, clogged pores, and a burning sensation. I recently tried nubian heritage products for my skin solutions as they are very similar to the natural salves I make with my own herbs and raw shea. I love the scents they create and black seed is essential in my skincare so I am very partial to their black seed and honey line of skincare which smells good enough to eat. The vetiver/hemp scent is amazing! There is a light lemon scent that with vetiver and hemp makes the overall smell very similar to honeysuckle or orange jasmine. The scent of the deodorant is still noticeable the next day and is a lovely mild smell that I get little whiffs of all day long. There is also a big bonus that hemp/vetiver with lemon has anti-microbial and anti-inflamatory qualities so the shaving bumps (stings for a minute) go away immediately. It's an underarm miracle that is totally natural and smells amazing while leaving skin soft like shea butter is supposed to.

BAD BATCH!! I’ve bought this deodorant before locally with no issues, however this one (same brand and scent) gave me the most horrific under arm rash. I do not recommend, just buy locally at Sprouts.

This is my go to deodorant. I love the fragrance (African Black Soap), and it works well for me and lasts throughout the day. I generally buy this product locally, but I thought I would try Amazon for the convenience. This order was not the same product as I bought in the past. The fragrance is nice but definately different, and the consistency is horrible. This stick was so soft it wouldn't even hold it's shape when applying, leaving blobs of the product lodged on my skin. It never dried on the skin and stayed sticky and messy, rubbing off on my hands and clothes. I'm sorry to report I had to return the product.
