Great reel
I’ve been using this reel for about 5 months and I couldn’t be happier with this reel, It’s strong enough to horse a 3 foot tarpon and finesse enough for large mouth and redfish

Excellent reel
I purchased the 3000 model which I find to be the perfect size for bass fishing. This reel cast further, quieter, and smoother then any other reel I have owned. And it is very powerful when reeling in the big ones especially when pulling them out of the thick reeds. I could not be happier.

By far the best Reel I ever owned. Spinning action is effortless, the large handle takes some getting used too, but proves itself when hooked and reeling in large fish.

It Works
Great for the price point. My first one last 5 years without ANY issues….then after my amateur brother in law used it and left it in the sand and salt water…it started to fail…naturally…great product; avoid rookies using it.

Comparable with the penn conflict 2s if not better
I bought the EVT2000 and 3000 models. They are very smooth and a very nice drag. I have several penn conflict 2s the sama sizes and find myself picking up the tsunami more often then the penns. My only complaint is about the EVT3000. If you are throwing plugs all day on the pier it will wear you out. It feels quite a bit heavier then the 2000 model to me. I have caught everything from trash fish to spanish and slot drum with zero failure. All sizes come with an oversized machined knob which is very nice. Ive used them since the beginning of the year and wanted to give it a few months before reviewing. Thats fishing a least 1 day a week some weeks up to 5 days
