cannot say enough, love our monkey lamp. perfect for our stairway. we used a clear, oversized stylish bulb. packed well, great quality, he looks great!

I was concerned that this guy is resin and his tail had to be popped in. I worried it would be cheap looking.But it looks wonderful!!!! I absolutely love it. Especially with vaulted ceilings.

I love this light! The first light came broken , returned it no problem. Light weight and easy to mount on wall. Needs to be plugged into wall socket like a table light. Takes a light bulb. Looks great! Would buy again

This light has not disappointed. It was a little pricey given the additional time I spent wrapping his cord in twine to look like a jungle rope (I both thanked and cursed the other reviewer who suggested that) and then when I read the review where they dressed him up and hung him in their tiki bar, I of course knew he needed a similar outfit. But he’s here and he’s amazing and he was worth it! My only real complaint is that his cord is quite short and didn’t allow for a lot of hanging room. Maybe it’s a good thing or his “rope” might be draped all around my living room and my husband would truly think I have lost my mind. Either way, Marco and I don’t care. We are living our best lives.

Super cute and well-made! I bought it along with the sitting monkey lamp, and they look great together: coordinating but not too matchy-matchy. I can't compare its quality to the super expensive Soretti lamp that is its obvious "inspiration," but it's certainly worth the money on it's own.The only reason I took off a star is because hanging it was a little tricky. Now, I'm not super handy, but I'm not helpless, either. He hangs at an angle, so even though I "measured twice, drilled once," I had a couple do-overs with the drywall fasteners. What ultimately worked for me was putting in the drywall fasteners for his top arm and nailing the arm secure, THEN marking where his bottom foot holes would go. Then I removed him from the wall, made the foot holes with the drywall fastener, and rehanged him, nailing him in top and bottom.

I received this monkey lamp very excited to open and install it on my wall. It was VERY expensive and I expected the quality to be good. It was awful. The seams were not well done at all. It looked like it should have been a prototype versus the actual product for sale. I was disgusted that I was sent something so awful for the price I paid. I had to return this. I wouldn’t have even paid $50 for this…maybe $20, $30 TOPS.I don’t know if the issue was with the actual mold itself, or it it was a product of the “cleaning” of the cast resin. But this quality was subpar for the price.I had also ordered a sitting monkey lamp that had even worse defects. There was a cookie cutter like circle that looked like it had been plugged by a young, grade school student. Not something that would merit the price that was charged. And because I mentioned it, I’ve included a pic of it in this review.
