Read the directions to prevent wobbling!!
I was hesitant to buy this because of reviews saying the holder wobbled and was off balance. I didnt find that to be true at all!Probably users simply didn't read directions. After unboxing and assembling you only need rotate the base ùntil it fits the size of your cup.holder.I'm personally ecstatic about this tool for my ñew Camry. Holds both my iPhone xr and Samsung Note 10.Mine doesn't wobble at all. Its really nìce. I confidently and sincerely give it 5 stars and wld recommend it to my closest friends.

First one was broken, but the replacement is perfect!
I ordered this gooseneck cupholder phone mount for use in a 2017 RAV4 with an iPhone X in an Otterbox Defender case. The product arrived in a bubble mailer, not a box, and the box was crushed, leaving the product damaged. Customer service was great, and I had a replacement sent immediately. This time, it was in a box with other Amazon purchases, so it wasn't damaged. The unit comes in two pieces with the neck having a bulb that the phone holder encloses, and a nut clamps it down. This allows it to rotate and move freely until you get it into position. The neck bends very well. You can see the pictures where I positioned it out of the way in both my RAV4 and my wife's Camry. Each time, the phone holder would have been in the way if it was straight up, but the bendable neck made it possible to position it perfectly in each vehicle.I was worried that my giant Otterbox Defender phone case wouldn't fit in the cradle, but it fits perfectly. The arms adjust outward slightly further than my phone's width, and they stay there until you press a button on the bottom rear of the cradle. This would be a hassle to hit every time, but the arms of the cradle don't have any lips, so you can just pull your phone straight out. A small amount of padding keeps it in place. I thought it might fall out with nothing holding it back, but tilting it at a viewing angle kept it from moving, even going over bumps in the road. There are two feet on the bottom, so it leaves the charging port unobscured. One problem I've had with phone holders that rest in the cupholders is getting them secure. They usually use a screw mechanism that extends the sides of the part that sit in the cupholder. Twisting the base extends the legs, but it also twists the whole unit, turning the phone holder along with it. This product alleviates that headache by allowing you to hold the top of the base still and turn a smaller, textured ring on the top of the base to extend the legs. It was easy to install, secure, and remove.Overall, I'm perfectly satisfied with this product's performance. My wife is happy with it as well, as she has forced me to leave it in her car (where she uses it with an iPhone 8, which also fits perfectly). I didn't find any flaws with the product and do recommend it. 5/5 stars

Works very well, and very sturdy, but make sure your cup holder will be good for it.
The phone mount is great. Sturdy, holds the phone well, even when switching it from portrait to landscape orientation. The product overall deserves 5 stars, but for me it just didn't sit well in my cup holder due to the way the cup holder is structured. Also, for me personally, I don't like to have the phone low as I don't like looking down while driving. I prefer having the phone right in front of the dash.

Great alternative to a Suction Cup mount, because this one will last and can be used in more places!
TL;DR: This Style of Mount works amazingly for someone with the optimal placement for it. Not everyone is going to have the ability to place this where they want it, but if you don't have the ability (or are tired of suction mounts falling every few months after they lose the suction.) This mount is for you. It's very well made and durable. I purchased it back in May and it's now July and still working like the day I bought it with my Samsung Galaxy S10+. The arms go very wide to accommodate many phone cases like Otterboxes, but they don't necessarily have depth so to speak. Meaning that if you have a Pop Socket on the back of your phone, this might not be the mount you need. The cradle also rotates a full 360 degrees, meaning if you're like me and use this for phone GPS navigation, you can twist the phone in any orientation you like, so you can see the perspective you want on screen. Not that many mounts like this happen to do that feature well enough, so that's a bonus in my eyes. The base is very accommodating for different cup holder sizes. By simply twisting the base, you can also use it in larger cup holders that you might find, or even other household items like Coffee mugs or Tumblers. It's very genius in that way, because it allows for more use case scenarios and that's what I look for in a product such as this.Overall, this isn't something that's a game changer in any sense, but it does the job of holding your phone in a cup holder mount, and it does it well. Don't hesitate and give it a try. I don't think you'll regret it. :)

A really useful holder with a cool phone mount
The media could not be loaded. I was really impressed by this holder. My husband needed on for his new job to be able to hold his phone in a non-obtrusive spot while he used his GPS... this really works well without cluttering the car dash. Plus we live in Florida and the heat does a number on dash-mounted holders. Take a look at my video review for an in depth look at the device, we've had it in use for a few weeks now and despite it taking up MY cup spot...I'm really glad we have it!!

Quick install
This holder was easy to install and makes me feel much safer in the car as I am less distracted by my phone sliding around. My car does not have an easy spot to sit my phone while connecting it to the audio cable, so it was sliding around and sometimes falling into a dangerous position while I was driving. With this holder, it sits securely in one spot and I can use voice commands to respond to any incoming calls or messages without ever needing to touch my phone. There was a bit of a learning curve for me with getting used to the twisting base and the push button (on the back of the mount) to set/release the mount base and the phone holder, but after a few days I was able to set and adjust them without much of a second thought. This works with my android and iPhone interchangeably. Very happy with this item.
