Just bought a high end sewing machine. This is a fun technique that can be used for more than bowls. Interesting concept but you can take it up a notch. But it is a start easy enough for kids. gives you more to do than just sew on machine.

Fun easy read. I haven't made any yet, but the instructions are well done and I'm excited to get to it!

Easy to follow directions

A very interesting and valuble read for the creative textile artist. The author, Wendy Hill, produces a good assortment of basic shapes and skills for the reader to build on. An enjoyable read!

Some great ideas in here for making one off decorative bowls. If you've never done it before this book is a good place to start. If you have done it before I think it could still add to your ideas/knowledge base. Good photographs throughout are really helpful to compliment the text and it's easy to understand and follow.

since receiving the book I have been collecting the threads and bits from my sewing group. I have recieved the washable sulky and am now ready to start. looks like fun.

It is easy to follow with good clear instructions. There were many different ideas I could build on for my own designs.

I'm sure it's good at what it does but I must have pressed several wrong buttons to end up with this!!!
