SpeckCandyShell Grip iPhone 11 Pro Case, White/Black (128835-1909)

This is the third Speck case of this type that I have purchased over the past 8 years to fit various phones. They are extremely durable and still look great at the time of the new phone purchase. Several times my phone has hit the concrete and was protected , the design is easy to grip and I even think that the success I have with my phone staying securely in my pocket is due to the grippy raised ribs. My new phone is that beautiful gold color and I originally thought of a clear case but after not reading enough favorable reviews to make a confident purchase I decided on the tried and true Speck. Its a fact that it is not the most attractive of cases but I am trying to protect my expensive phone, not make a statement. Also, my case fits my iPhone 11 Pro like a glove. It went on with an audible snap. Speck makes this style in a wide variety of sizes. Before ordering the wrong size and leaving a unfavorable review double check to be sure you are getting the specific case for your particular iPhone.

I drop my phone often, sometimes as much as 3-4 times each day! This case bounces instead of breaking my phone.

I have used these cases for the last three iPhones over the last seven years. I have never found a case with better grip. Consequently, I have never dropped my phone except when it fell out of my pocket while seated resulting in an occasional two-foot drop. So, I have gone seven years with no damage to a cell phone. When my phone is placed on a surface like a leather car seat or a table, it stays where it was placed due to the grippy material.The only negative that might bother some is that after about two years of carrying in a back pocket, the little rubbery grippy spines begin to wear off. This is mostly a cosmetic issue as there is still plenty of grip, but they do eventually show wear. This case provides great protection without excessive bulk.

I had a hard time finding a case for my 11 Pro that was grippy. I always bought the Otterbox for my iPhone 4S and 5 until they changed the design for all future iPhones. It became more of a slick rubber instead of the grippy, tacky rubber that I liked. From the iPhone 6 onwards, I bought the Speck CandyShell grip. I went to buy it again this past year for the new iPhone 11 Pro, but the grips on most of the new cases are made of hard plastic and didn't provide the rubber grip that I like. I dropped my phone probably 6 times before upgrading to this case. It is perfect--just like all the past CandyShell grip cases.

great phone case

Good price, and not too bulky. I've had this case for two months and [knock on wood] haven't had a major phone drop, but I'm confident this case would protect my phone. It has good grip, but not so grippy that I can't slide it into pockets/my purse. I like the white/black version because it's not too flashy, but has a little bit of an design to it.

Sturdy and simple

I had tried several cases for my iPhones over the years but when I found this one I just kept buying it -- for my last three iPhones. It gives wonderful protection from drops and bangs and the combination of the strips of rubberized material and smooth plastic give a super surface for either holding it without dropping it or sliding it into your jeans pocket without it getting stuck. I will continue buying it as long as they keep making it for all my future iPhones.

The other colours were a bit much for me but this case has great grip and looks nice

Everything is good about this case except that it’s too tight and hard to remove. If you’d like to keep the case on all the time, this is a decent case.

If you're like me and are used to taking your phone out of your case once a week to clean trapped debris that's settled in between your phone and the case. Than this case may not be suitable for you. I work in an office and use my phone in a whats would be considered light usage. I've never dropped my phone and always take care of my things. but I believe the plastic is not strong enough for removal of your phone once a week from it. Of course once doesn't just rip the phone out of the case but should gently pry one corner of the case from the phone until the phone is dislodged from the case, yet despite good practice and all things considered, I consider this case's materials defective.
