TempPro TM02 24H Kitchen Timer with Clock Mode & Dual Digital Timers

I am in the kitchen cooking about 6 days a week and have gone through multiple inferior kitchen timers in the last 5 years. I purchased and received this kitchen timer 3 weeks ago and have used it several times per week since. The construction is solid and sleek, not cheap like many plastic timers. The back side must be completely filled with magnets which allows for the timer to attach to my refrigerator door and stay put. The design is sleek and not thick so it fits on a refrigerator door without protruding. Scraping it with a shoulder in the middle of the night while going for a night time snack does not budge it; the strong magnet keeps it in place. It's super nice having 2 timers that you can run simultaneously in 1 device; nor more needing the timer on my mobile device when cooking multiple dishes at once. The buttons are made of a soft rubber like material, are easy to press, and very responsive. They do not require too much pressure and are not overly responsive meaning they allow to set the timer accurately each time. My fingers are the size of sausages and this was important. The backlight of the LED screen is bright and pleasant. The volume of the alarm is loud enough you can hear it on a 2nd floor of a house without being obnoxious.

I have needed a stand alone timer for a long time but it is just one of those things you don't make a priority. I have a timer on my microwave and stove, but I am always messing it up. When I use either timer, I usually end up using the microwave or the oven and set it differently and disable the timer I was using, and in place, I would use the timer for what I was cooking at that time. I have done that more times than I'd like to admit, then I would not know how much time I actually had left for what I was cooking or baking in the first place. It was clear that I needed a timer that had the ability to set two different times on it, and I don't know why I kept putting that off. I was searching Amazon and I found this little beauty, which has the ability to be set for two different times, separate from the oven or microwave timer. So far it has been lifesaver and I have already saved myself a couple of potential situations that could have turned into timer fiascos, where it would have ended up wiping out the timer that I had set for a roast and for something I was baking. I never knew how much I needed this until I got it. It is easy to set, has a nice, big screen so you can easily see how much time is left, and it is magnetic, so I have it attached to the side of my fridge. It is tough and very well made and the magnets attach securely to the fridge. The ring in the timer could be a bit louder, so knowing that, you just need to make sure you don't wander too far away from it when you have something in the oven, or something you are timing, or make sure to carry the timer with you so that when it does go off you will be sure to hear it. Aside from that, it is very nice and well-made and durable and works very very well. I used it over the recent holidays, and a lot of times I had the need to have two timers going at the same time, and this dual timer served the purpose so well. I no longer have to guess how many minutes something might have left to cook. I am very pleased with it, I have no more timer fiascos and this is obviously something I should've purchased a long time ago.

modifications will more then likely void the warranty, but in my case a roommate of mine had one of these and they work good and I wanted one, she always used on the counter using the stand feature. Jump forward to recent times & my little generic timer died and in looking for a new one came across this one, got happy, and read some reviews and the two biggest complaints were" way to loud" and the magnets would stay on the refrigerator and the timer/clock face down on the floor and in more than a few cases broken. People this is a awesome Timer/clock easy to use, two timers that can be run at the same time(as it should be capable of) and when your not timing what ever it is your timing, flip the switch on the back and you have a more then decent clock (with seconds) with the date(month, day & year) Modifications: Stopping the basic face plant; So walking in the kitchen and finding my timer in the face plant position is not why I bought it, so before you put it on the fridge or any other metal surface replace the adhesive, pull the two magnets off the back and then peel the crappy tape off the magnet or back of the timer, clean the magnet and the surface where the magnet goes with rubbing alcohol or what ever you use to clean up/off adhesives, let dry and use a strong adhesive that bonds to both metal and plastic I myself like to use two part epoxy follow directions on the adhesive and you will probably violate warranty. might not beings you would be fixing their short coming! I went like this and bypassed their magnets and grabbed a old hard drive magnet and two part epoxy 24 hours later it is the way it should have been sent out from the factory! Turn it down!; This timer has three loudness choices and off. but low is to loud for me and others and off isn't loud at all. If you look at the back you'll see the speaker (if not set the timer and when it is times up it will point itself out, trust me!) I took two pipe cleaners (Amazon, Wally world, etc.) and wound them around the dome/cone thingy-majigie put a black piece of tape over it and made it bearable! The Best way to do it .... I doubt it but it made this a good investment. I still found other ways to burn my chow from time to time but that is no fault of the timer! The reason for four stars is everything on this timer is totally awesome except the oversight originally and you know they have had their attention brought to this problem, their lack of easy fixing the one major flaw!

Why I put off buying this timer until my old one broke was a huge error. I really like this timer because: 1. I absolutely love having one physical unit with 2 timers. I like using Alexa as an audio timer for when I need to go out and shut off the lawn sprinkler, for example. But for cooking, I prefer to use a physical timer so I can easily see time remaining and not have to ask. Plus, if I miss the Alexa alarm, I don’t know how long ago it went off, so it just doesn’t work as well for cooking and baking for me. 2. Counts down in minutes and seconds. I find this feature very helpful when broiling because things can burn in less than a minute. 3. Ability to control the volume. Who knew this would be a game changer! It has 3 volume level options plus no sound, which I’m assuming could be useful if you have a baby sleeping. I can now leave the timer in the kitchen and easily hear it going off in the living room on the 2nd volume setting even if the tv is loud, which I couldn’t do with my old timer. 4. After the timer alarm sounds, it starts counting up. If I am outside and miss the alarm going off, I can see how long ago the alarm went off. This is helpful when making a recipe for the first time to determine cooking time in my oven, or with a quick glance to think, “Whew, didn’t burn the cookies yet.” 5. The magnets on the back are very strong and hold securely to my stove hood, so I don’t have to remove the timer to set it, turn it off or reset it to zero. 6. You can turn it to the clock setting to use it as a clock, including the date. Pretty handy device and meets my needs.

This timer works just as you would expect. It is loud enough to be heard throughout my apartment, but its tone is not annoying.

I love this timer for all the features that other reviews have described: dual timer, volume control, easy to read, etc. However, it only lasted 18 months (it has a 1-year warranty) and will not light up with fresh batteries. Support info on their web site said it's probably faulty when that happens. I just bought it again and hope this one lasts longer. If it does, I'll change my rating to 5-stars.

This is a great timer. I love that you can set 2 timers at the same time. My previous one was this exact timer and it lasted for years. I had to have the same one.

Great timer. I bought one 5 years ago. Recently, the buttons began to get a little "finicky" the alarm sound a little tired. So, what did I do? I bought another! And it's even better than when the old one was brand new! Now, Buy it!

Well constructed but it is inconvenient to switch between timer and clock as you have to use a switch on the back. Also you are not able to have a timer on screen and the clock at the same time. A button on the front to switch between timer and clock would improve the design considerably. Too loud even on the lowest setting.

This product is well designed and well made, sturdy and functional. I have owned multiple K-timers over 40 years for various use and this one stands out in "Best Of" category. The display is large and clear, it has 2 timers, a 12-24 hr clock w min-sec and date-year, the alarm ring adjustable, and the unit can be mounted in various ways. Perfect for a busy cook and homeowner! My only criticism (preference) would be to move the unit Timer and Clock switch on the back of the unit to the front, thereby being readily accessible. Great product, functional with clock, dates, and able to set two baking time on one device. Recommended product.
