MAGIFIRE Butterfly Wings with Eye Masks for Girls, Halloween Costume, Fairy Shawl Cape, Ages 3-15 (One Size 43.3" x 53")

My 7 year old daughter asked for a butterfly dress up for Christmas. So I found this item on Amazon. We received our order quickly. She opened it and loved it instantly. Quality is good. Even has the little finger holes to pretend fly and spread your wings. The mask is cute but you can't see out of it really. Overall great purchase.

Well-made, vivid colors,

Very flowy and falls nice. Very colorful and bright. I can not get my 4yr old out of them (she is a bit taller than avg for those wondering if it would work.. They are a bit long for her, but with her running it flows right behind her and looks beautiful. Easily large enough for an adult too. After constant wearing I did have to repair the loop, but anyone with a needle and thread could do it. It was good quality construction, just a load of tugging on it finally it succumbed. Good quality elastic made it easily repairable. I can't say enough good things. They're simple and perfect. Made for a very happy Halloween and way beyond.

My daughter wanted to be a butterfly for Halloween, and thought these wings were so pretty so I ordered them. I paired the wings with a black bodysuit, black socks, & black shoes, and painted my daughter's face & she looked great!!The wings are well made, but there are a couple of things about them that could be improved.1. To make it easier for kids to know how to put them on in the right direction, it would be great if the wings were sewn together just a little bit at the top in the middle. Each wing is sewn into the elastic neck band, but it would make thing easier if the wings were also sewn to each other just a little.2. The elastic bands at the end of the wings that are supposed to go around the wrists are SUPER small & tight. My daughter kept taking her wings off because the elastic was too tight around her wrists & left big red marks. There was absolutely no space between the elastic bands & her skin. I had wanted to put the elastic wing bands over her bodysuit sleeves, but there wasn't enough room and the bands rubbed against her skin & left her wrists really, really red.The mask that came with the wings didn't work for my daughter. I couldn't tie the ribbons tight enough, so the mask kept sliding all over my daughter's face & made it difficult for her to see. We had two Halloween parties, and she wore the mask for the first party, but didn't want to wear it for the second party & instead asked me to paint her face.All in all, these wings are very pretty, and would work very, very well if those two tweaks are made & the face mask size could be modified somehow.

This was an easy costume to begin with. Added some little ‘slip pockets’ for glo sticks on the backside and this became on of the coolest, easiest, least expensive costumes on the block this Halloween! And now it’s the way cool window hanging in her room. A total win-win!

My daughter loved this outfit. She wore it for Halloween and is very glad she got it.

The main downfall for this is the wrist straps- they’re way too tight and uncomfortable. My daughter wore this as a Halloween costume at 7 years old and it was too tight on her tiny wrists. The neck strap has a weird design, it needs to be more subtle. And the face mask is so cute, but she couldn’t wear it because it covered half of her eyes and it was made of super scratchy material. The wings looked good, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again now knowing these issues.
