Nilo® Graphic Play Mat, 32" x 48"

I purchased this mat to cover up a scratched train table top that i got second hand. It definitely spruced up the table but I am a little disappointed with what I got. First of all, it came rolled up really tight (with the graphic on the inside) so when I tried to lay it flat on the table it would just roll back up again. I used some strong double stick tape along the edges and in the middle but it still has areas where it wants to pop up. The wooden train tracks and toys we have aren't heavy enough to weigh it down so it makes the track uneven and causes our trains to "derail". I feel like if it were rolled up and stored the opposite way, with the graphic on the outside, it would at least be easier to make it lay flat. I can't imaging anyone having luck using it on the floor or carpet, anywhere you can't tape or glue it down. there is no way it would lay flat without putting something heavy on all 4 corners. Also, I feel like for $35, it should be a little more substantial rather than a thin plastic mat. It is definitely thinner than a place mat as stated in the description. I am keeping it because it is the only thing that I could find that wasn't carpet.

Bought this item to replace the original play mat, which is now looking a little too worn.The quality of printing on this replacement is awful!Faded and badly aligned print. I feel like I'm looking at the mat with Vaseline smeared on my eyeballs!!!

this looks great on my son's train table. he loves it. great quality too!
