This refill is the exact fit for my cross pen, can be a little hard to find..

Nice color ink for compact pen.
Nice color blue for my Sheaffer Ion compact pen that I take everywhere. Color shows up well for signing documents and taking notes. Last one ran dry after 2 years. Hard to find in stores so get two and make the most of the shipping cost.

Frustration
When these pens work they are amazing, however, the refills are very bad. They may write beautifully for up to a month, but, although it looks like there is still plenty of ink in the cartridge, the pen will no longer write. It has come to the point where I test them before I buy them at the store and if they fail to deliver, I return them. This is a real problem buying through mail order, but I do love the Ion when it works.

It's fine. Maybe a little pricey but then again I had next day delivery.
The ink cartridge works and the has a fine point. Most likely a .5, would have preferred a .7 but it will do. No complaints.
