Keep buying them even though they keep breaking
I’ve owned at least 4 of these. They have all cracked eventually from being dropped. But I keep going back to aquajug because other water bottles just aren’t as good!Pros:-half gallon so can carry around a day’s worth of water and easily track if I’m drinking enough, no need to refill multiple times-Large easy-to-open spout for chugging water (can do one handed). I hate water bottles with straws or screw-tops-Spout closes securely without leaking (I’m not having to use all my strength to get it to snap shut like others)-small screw top lid so less likely to misalign and cause a leak (my other brand’s top is huge and often pours water down my front if not lined up perfectly)-lightweight-large handle-strap for carrying on your wrist if needed-no timeline on the side telling me when to drink-the first time it broke the company replaced it for freeCons:-Won’t keep water cold in summer-eventually will crack and be unusable

Durable. Can be heavy. Loud. Usefull.
Before I got this jug, I would buy 20oz bottles of water at work before I travelled to the gym. I preferred the sports tops because it's easier for me to drink out of compared to the standard bottle opening.I needed a permanent bottle and was skeptical about the wide-mouth design, but it does allow for easy water consumption. This is very important, for me, during my short recoveries between sets at the gym. I would rehydrate to the point that I would gulp down half of my 20oz water during my first recovery (usually 3 during the hour); with this bottle I have more than enough.I do have a few negatives. For one, it can and will weigh down my gym bag. I have to wait until I get to work to fill the bottle up because it will add unnecessary weight combined with other items in my bag and hurt my shoulder during my commute. Before I go to the gym, I fill it halfway... Two, the air hole at the top of the bottle makes a loud, high-pitched sound. It isn't too annoying, but I always get self-conscious when I drink from it in a generally quiet environment.

Lasted 8 months or so
I've been looking for a good, large water bottle. I have had it a few weeks and it has worked good so far. The lid screws on the same way every time so your handle is always on the right. If you are left handed it might be a little awkward, but works fine for me being right handed. It doesn't leak unless you don't snap the lid on tightly. I dropped it once, but it was mostly empty so it didn't crack. I put it in the dishwasher and it survived. I have a super hot dishwasher so I removed it before the dry cycle. I noticed the lid doesn't snap as well after the dishwasher, like it shrunk 1 mm or something. It is super hard to open and close now. When I first got this I listed this review as 5 stars as I loved the bottle. But this is my 3rd (yes I had 3 of them) and ALL OF THEM CRACKED!!!!!!! Each one lasted about 8 months and then it falls out of my gym bag, and smack! It is over. Not worth the price to keep replacing it. The company has done nothing to help with this either.Cons: you can't see how much water you have left as it is not transparent, it make a whistling sound when you drink due to the ventilation, sometimes little water dumps out of the vent while you drink.Update: I dropped this one half full at waist high and it cracked. It was good while it lasted but I won’t purchase again. I tried 3 times. I have dropped smaller water bottles in the past and they didn’t fracture like this one. I wouldn't purchase it unless you can guarantee you will never drop it.

The handle broke off almost immediately and there is no way to fix it.
Water bottle was fine except fo the cheap way the handle was attached to the bottle. It broke after a couple of weeks fo no ill use of the bottle. Dont buy it unless you dont care about there being a handle on your bottle. Its shameful how poorly that handle was attached. It should be detachable or made from a different material. Design and materials are flawed.

Pretty disappointed
At first, I was excited to find a relatively cheap water jug that didn't have a straw! I know that the straw-tops are very popular right now, but I've never found a reliable way to clean them. Plus, the hinge area could be a great place for water and bacteria to hang out. Hard pass!Anyway, the Aqua Jug arrived, and the first red flag was how thin the plastic was. Meh, I said. Thick enough to keep the wet on the inside. It's fine. The second red flag was the fact that there were convenient numbers printed on the side of the jug to see how much water was left. This doesn't seem too bad... untill you realize that the jug was black...and opaque. Even holding it up to the light, I couldn't see the water level, so the numbers on the side were a bit of an oopsie.Lastly, the jug did not survive a 1.5 ft fall onto carpet. The full bottle then emptied itself onto the floor of my office, necessitating a nice gentleman from plant services to come by and vacuum up the water. Now, it was my fault it fell, I own that, but I am still disappointed it didn't survive it.
