Artisana Organics Raw Coconut Butter, 8 lbs | Bulk Coconut Butter, No Sugar Added, No Palm Oil

I just received my jar of Coconut Butter. It expires in 8 days!!! This is totally unacceptable, and of course I cannot return this item. Very disappointed!

I bought the 2 bottle package because 5 months ago I bought a bottle and it was smooth, sweet and delicious. BUT these 2 bottles are not the same as what I bought earlier. First of all, one bottle arrived with the seal broken. The bottle was slippery on the outside which told me it leaked. I opened it and sure enough it was dry, coarse and tasteless. I opened the other bottle and it was also dry, coarse and tasteless. No flavor. I tried to return it but return is not an option. I checked the bottle I bought months ago and I see it came from a different seller. It's the exact same product but not the same thing. Buyer beware.

First of all, I want to say this whole order went poorly. But I was willing to let it go because I love this product so much, but even the product was bad.I ordered this at 3x what it goes for in the store, but the estimated delivery was 2 days out. Well... it didn’t ship for over a week. It took forever to arrive(we can blame it on Covid, that’s fine).But then I realized something is wrong with this. I used to buy this from the store but they quit carrying it. I bought on here and it looks the same, package is good, sealed. But the consistency is off, too thick. I warmed it gently, still too thick. I liked this brand because the consistency was thinner and smoother than other brands, but either they changed it or something is wrong.I tried eating it, even though it was globby and chunky, but felt queasy afterwards. I tried again a few days later and had worse than queasiness. This bad batch has ruined the product for me, and when I tried to get answers I was shot down with “no returns accepted, all sales final”. They won’t give the money back I spent, I can’t return it, so I’m just stuck with it.I should know better than to trust amazon for such things, since it’s common place to find dumpster found items and reject/trash items sold as new. But being quarantined makes it hard to get the things I need and having to rely on amazon for things I normally wouldn’t. To get stomach illness by a product and be told “too bad” is infuriating.

There was a sticker on the outside of the jar with an expiration date of 1/31/18. I received it 3/13/18. Extremely poor attention to the freshness of the stock. I went to the manufacturer's website and this reseller is the only authorized reseller. Artisana may want to rethink their choice of business partners.

I think this may be the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. I cannot even comprehend that people said it was like coconut oil, it is not. This coconut butter is so decadent and rich, way better than coconut oil.

I bought this to make fat bombs with. Haven't gotten around to it yet, but have had a few spoonfuls because its SO YUMMY. Ive had (and made) coconut butters that were kind of gritty, but this one is completely smooth and tastes delicious. YUM!

I had inherited this brand from someone when they moved which was at least 4 years ago. Since I had never used coconut butter before, it stayed in the cupboard. When I finally decided to use it, I was floored by the wonderful aroma of this coconut butter! It smelled fresh and not rancid at all after all those years in the cupboard. It was a bit dried out but no problem! I’ve used it to make cookies, banana bread and muffins. It adds a wonderful buttery flavor to your bakes. I have and still use coconut oil as well but this is way different. It has an almost sweet, salty, buttery smell that I have never experienced with coconut oil. I have not tried this out of the jar but may try it on a piece of toast or something. I am finally down to the bottom of the jar so I ordered some more. Highly, highly recommend!!

My favorite coconut butter. It doesn't separate as dramatically as the other brands. It has a much more delicate flavor as well. It's almost lightly floral.
