So nice to have this ScottiVest jacket goes through Security with ease. Pockets for most all essential items. And all secured in the interior of the jacket. The best thing, the jacket looks sleek and fashionable. It holds tons of things without looking like a fishing vest.

I had the opportunity to test this item on a recent trip. It was everything the company advertise. I usually wear large size, but ordered an extra- large size. It fit perfectly, though the sleeves are a little snug, I was able to wear long sleeves under it. The pockets are labeled. I carried enough item and did not look bulk. Loved the length, it covered my backside and I’m of average height. I washed the jacket in the washer before using it and hung it to dry. The color looked better (mine is black) afterwards. At least that’s the way it seemed to me. The material is great. Is only lined in the front only. It keeps you warm on temperature in the 50s. I think is a bit pricey, but worth having when you travel. I’m planning to buy 1 for a relative.

I bought the jacket because of its pockets. After reading the reviews, I went up a size since the consensus was the jacket ran small. I found going up a size wasn’t enough because the jacket fit snug, especially when I had things in my pockets.It’s a really nice jacket and the material is comfortable, but if you put too many things in your pockets, you’ll feel weighed down.

Everything about this jacket is top notch. About half the pockets are small (one for a pen, for keys, for ID cards, and only about half have zippers which is just right. The only disappointment for me was that I expected a big pocket in the back somewhere...inside or outside (say for your scarf or something you bought shopping); but there was none in the back. There's really no pocket that's really big (I was hoping to completely eliminate a backpack). This will be fine to eliminate my purse since I mostly carry 2 pair of glasses, money, credit cards, lipstick, comb, and phone. The jacket itself is really a flattering style. I'm 5'5" and weigh 135 and the large was perfect. It tapers just ever so slightly at the waist (I don't have a little waist) to give a very flattering look. The material is not your typical polyester...I don't know what they did but it feels like some natural fibers in there. It's thick enough to be sturdy and warm but not chintzy. I love how the sleeves of the white one have a turn-up feature (where I usually get my jackets dirty on a trip). It's great to hide dirt and wear AND accent the inside of the same-color hood. The zipper is sturdy. I really like it.

I normally wear a Med but based on the reviews I sized up to a large. The sleeves were pretty long but once I folded then over to show the grey (I bought black with grey cuffs) it was fine.The jacket felt pretty soft and warm but not overly warm- just right for cold flights. It wasn’t bulky either. The zippers were well made and ran smoothly.I didn’t like the little mini pockets inside the outer hand pockets (my fingers kept getting caught in them). I wished the jacket came with instructions as to what fits where (the big pockets had pics but I was left to guessing that the mini pockets and loops etc were for).The biggest disappointment I had was that the jacket didn’t have at least one pocket with RFID protection- for this price they should have included a detachable RFID passport and card holder that can fit in the passport pocket. I will have to use a mini RFID card holder in the pocket.I tried the jacket on with my iPhone 15pro max and it felt strangely heavy in the jacket while on the inside pocket. It felt better zipped up on the outer hand pockets. I’m not sure how much I will like the feel of the jacket when I start placing items inside. I’ll update when I do. One thing I noticed is that you have to he mindful of what and where you place items. I tried to place my iPhone in the camera pocket but it stuck out and felt weird there. As for carrying a tablet, it would have to be a mini tablet- it just won’t fit anything bigger- def not an iPad Pro 11. And again I can’t imagine how odd that extra weight would feel. I don’t think I will carry heavy items in there like a tablet. I will most likely use it to carry my passports, CC, glasses, mini external T7 drives, phone battery pack, AirPods etc… (things I don’t have to take out when going through security). Hopefully it won’t be too bulky and feel weird. Most likely I will carry a foldable tote in a pocket to unload everything into while I fly. I can’t imagine how this could feel comfortable during flight when sitting/sleeping for hours.The quality seems good overall- it better be because this ain’t cheap!!! Took stars off for it being overpriced plus no RFID, no instructions on what the stitched cutouts are for (it’s in the pockets), how to use wired earbuds with the jacket, and for the life of me I can only find 17 pockets. I also didn’t care for the outer pockets going all the way up to the chest portion of the jacket. As another reviewer said, when you take the jacket off everything in the outside pocket migrates to the top or middle of the jacket. Not sure why they made the pocket like that. As for the zipper going all the way up- why??? I have long hair and hoping it won’t get tangled in the zipper teeth as some reviewers have stated. I can’t imagine anyone using this feature. What if the zipper gets stuck while all the way up mid flight??? lol.With that said, I plan to keep the jacket because I can only fly with a personal item when traveling with my dog so I need the extra pockets to hold stuff as my backpack is quite full. This is the only jacket I found that has what I think I need and actually looks like a regular jacket. The fit is ok when I tried it on. Because it’s a large it’s pretty loose fitting which is fine for me.Once I travel with this fully loaded I will update my review. I hope it will not be too uncomfortable with my items.

Purchased for trip to Europe. Loved all the pockets, was like having a 3rd carry on! Didn't have to worry about passport and money as it was securely zipped in the jacket pocket as everthing was scanned in the airport. Perfect for weather extremes in Europe in the spring. Had a light weight denim jacket that I wore under it and wore this jacket over the top. Flexible, stretches, but has a nice shape to it. I have broad shoulders so I was glad I sized up. Only thing that would make this jacket even better would be under arm zippered vents (which it does NOT have) and less of the smaller zippered pockets and more of the larger zippered pocket. Still this is a great jacket! The one side can truely hold a good sized paperback book in it- which was really impressive other pocket stored scarf, snacks, compact water bottle!!! It's a lot of money to spend on a jacket...but it was one of the best items I brought with me on my trip! Packs down reasonably small. Washes well. I was so glad I had this jacket!
