For those who have used both, how does this compare to Stick It Adhesive sheets?

This question is from 2016 but I am going to answer in 2020. I have used a ECD for years. It was only recently I decided to try to Stick It. I like the thinness of the stick it but I found it to be very unmanageable. It stuck to my fingers, was extremely gummy and sticky. It made strings. It was just difficult to apply neatly. I wasted a 3 of 5 sheets trying to get it on properly as it seems to have a life of its own. The 2 that I did manage to apply still had some flaws. I did not like it although I wanted to like it. I believe Elizabeth craft double-sided adhesive paper is much easier to apply, it is neat and clean, cuts neatly in a die cut machine and I love it for glitter. If you have ever used the Xyron Products, Stick It is similar as far as texture and behavior. The ECD is Similar to the Sookwang double sided tape a lot of us use in card making. It’s a product Els used to recommend before she offered her own tapes & sheets. I personally like the 8 x 11 sheets ECD makes.

Is this clear through and through

yes, it is clear. The printed sheet pulls off and the brown sheet pulls off as well to give clear adhesive.

Can this product be used on leather material without damaging?

I don't really know. It bonds extremely well with paper. Don't know that it would with leather or if it would damage the finish. Maybe have to email the manufacturer.

Would it hold shells secure in a shadow box?ix?

I am not sure. But this is a very thin adhesive used mostly in card making. I would use a hot glue gun to get a stronger hold.

SUPER ADHESIVE

I got these to try to fix one of those Falling Rain Nature Chimes in which tiny stainless steel balls stick to a sticky pad inside a wooden box and slowly fall onto chimes creating a nice sound. This adhesive paper works SO WELL that the balls stuck to the adhesive and are still stuck there, fighting gravity, a month and a half later. I’m seriously impressed by the sticky power of this stuff and now I’m trying to figure out how to make it just sliiiiiightly less sticky so the balls fall off sometime this year!

Strong Adhesive, Great for DIY Diamond Painting

I purchased this to use for a DIY Diamond Painting project. I didn't want to wait for the blank grid kind from China so I printed my own grid paper and used this on top. This stuff is STRONG! I had no worries about my diamond drills falling off. I also use it to decorate cell phone cases for Halloween and sealed the whole thing in a light layer of mod podge. I'm really pleased! I still think it's a bit pricey but great quality.

Exactly what I needed

This clear double-sided adhesive is easy to use and works very well with my diamond paintings. I have been making some bookmarks recently using my leftover diamond drills. I was applying a glue to hold the drills in place. But these adhesive sheets take away the need for the glue. The adhesive is great and the drills stick securely. I am really pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it.

Better than expected

I have tried and have in my stash all the adhesive sheets out there and this brand was the only one I hadn't tried because I thought it was a little pricey. If it is to you too, we are both wrong. To me it is easy to work with and sticks a lot better. The backing to peel off my die-cut image comes off without having to find a spot to peel. Make sure you know where you want to lay done the paper, its down! There's no stick glue coming out of the sides. It's clean. I will make this my sticky paper of choice.
