Being a female reader who avidly devoured the Lion of War series, I was attracted by the title of this book; hungry to know and experience the 'covering' for myself. Ladies, please don't be put off - which I almost was - by the introduction, which announces "This book was written by men and for men". Discouraged, I almost didn't purchase it, almost missing a life changing experience. We are all pawns - male and female - in this spiritual battle called life. And we are all warriors! The battles fought by women and men are essentially those common to all of us. Our God wants all his children to call upon him during large battles and small, in confidence crying out to him 'Lord God, cover me!'

This book is changing my life as I journey through it. This book is not for the faint of heart or the so called casual Christian. This is for those men desiring to experience what it means to be a real man according to Yahweh's standards. To know what it means to be covered in the day of battle as David said. I new about walking with God and his glory, but I never knew it. It's one thing to know about something, and another to experience and know it. I now know Yahweh's covering on a daily basis and seek His glory and not the glory of this world. That is what is in this book for a man of God. I challenge all men of God to take up the journey through this book.

Great read!

This was a fantastic Bible Study about being a man prepared to be mighty in service to God. If you are a man, have one in your life, or you are a man who wants to really know what manly friendship is, get this book! I highly recommend it!

Received book in good shape besides the front cover. Was not the same as shown in the picture, which was unfortunate. Torn up on the side.
