His goal was writing, that is, until he meets the gorgeous free-spirited Leanna...
*Excellent reads! USA Today and NYT bestselling author Melissa Foster has delivered another masterpiece in book 5 of her sweet, sexy and steamy blockbuster hit series featuring the gorgeous Remington brothers which is a continuation of the Love in Bloom series..(18+)....He worked rigorously at his keyboard after arriving at his beach front property in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. His goal as always was to remain in seclusion and stay hunkered down for the summer by completing his project and finishing his last thriller. Bestselling author Kurt Remington habitually worked twelve straight hours a day, and even though he lived just outside of New York City, he enjoyed the change of scenery of the Cape. The sounds of the sea inspired his efficiency, that is, until he rescues the gorgeous free-spirited Leanna Bray from drowning in the ocean while trying to save her dog. Not only is Kurt irritated by the sexy woman who lives life on the whim, but he's also intrigued by the beautiful creature who doesn't even know the definition of the word organized. For some reason, she rattled him by sending his heart off kilter with everything she did, and Kurt finds himself drawn to Leanna like a pen to paper. Nearly drowning for dear life in the ocean, Leanna Bray couldn't believe she was saved by the handsome-brooding writer. She'd come to the Cape to figure out her life and career by trying to make her jam business a success, and the last thing in her plans was falling for the six-foot-two sexy Kurt Remington. As much as she keeps tellling herself a simple thank you would be enough, however, that thought was soon forgotten when Leanna finds herself spending a steamy afternoon in the arms of the gorgeous writer testing the powers of not only chemistry, but something so much more. Could this be love?...

Opposites do attract
Leanna Bray a messy, disorganized free spirit who makes and sells her homemade jams and breads at flea market on weekends and Kurt Remington, a serious, structured, neat, and organized author are total opposites. KURT does his best work in solitude sitting on his deck on his Cape Cod home overlooking the ocean. He is disturbed one evening by some woman, Leanna, yelling frantically at Pepper her dog who was caught in the tide. KURT tries to ignore the disturbance but when he looks up again the woman is in the water trying to get to her dog and is struggling to stay above the water herself, he knew he had save them. The relationship that developed between them was a great story.

Another great story in the epic romantic saga that is Love in Bloom
Kurt Remington has always let a quiet, structured life. Using the determination his military father instilled in him from a young age, he's made a successful career of writing thriller novels, a career that allows him to divide his time between his family in New York and his tranquil days spent writing at the beach. But all that quiet and structure is shattered when a free-spirited woman with no roots and her disobedient dog wander out into the stormy surf in view of his deck. Leanna Bray upsets his carefully planned schedule and the solitude of his summer, but maybe her disorganized ways and unruly pet are exactly what he needs to start the next chapter of his life. The Verdict: Kurt was every bit the quiet thinker I expected, but of course he still had that Remington sex appeal and strong family values. His life, however, revolves around his writing schedule, and while it's certainly good for his career, outside of his siblings and parents, he doesn't have much else. His initial reaction to Leanna was hilarious, the perfect combination of annoyed and attracted and intrigued, and while he couldn't exactly wrap his head around her piles of laundry and inattention to all the ways her life was completely disorderly, it was just the kind of disorder he needed. I especially loved the way he just accepted her dog as part of the package deal, knowing that including Pepper in just about everything he and Leanna did was important to keeping her happy.I was surprised by the lack of angsty conflict in this book when compared to the others in the series. There were no giant misunderstandings or grudges, no sacrificing the relationship in some misguided attempt to preserve anything for the other person. There was still conflict, namely how they would manage a future together when it seemed their careers would require their being apart, but it was cool to read a story where the romantic pair didn't do something inanely stupid and almost ruin things. That's not to say I avoid the stories where that happens, since the truth is that we all do really stupid things when it comes to relationships. But I thoroughly enjoyed that the characters were up front and pretty much faced things head-on.Read, Write, Love is just another great story in the epic romantic saga that is Love in Bloom, and if you love romance reads, grab the whole series. It's got every kind of strong male lead you could want, from the sensitive writer to the angry survivalist, and every single one of them is just perfect. Leanna and Kurt add a new splatter of color to the series with her rather whimsical personality and his complete devotion to her.

Love this series
Another Remington story- Kurt the mystery writer spends his summer writing at his beachfront property where he is very neat quiet and organized. Leanna blows into Kurts life like a hurricane and they feel a strong attraction to each other. Leanna has been looking for that thing she wants to do with her life, this summer she is making and selling jam, she is loud, clumsy, inhibited and likes to have fun. Definitely opposites attract in this romance. I love this series of books“The truth is, most people spend more time with their jobs than they do with their spouses, so if you don’t enjoy it, you’ll…divorce it.” His voice grew serious. “Life’s too short to stay married to a career you hate. You’re probably smarter than half the people out there who are begrudgingly going to their jobs every day.”A first for both of us“You need me in your life.” Oh, hell yeah, I do . “I don’t need any man in my life. But I want you in it.”I feel it in my crazy- ass heart . I love you.”“You fill my empty spots.” He loved her so much that his heart ached. He wiped the tear with the pad of his thumb and held her close. “You fill mine, too. Even the ones I never knew I had.”Kurt. “Be there for those who matter most. Not just with lessons, but with life, Kurt. It goes by far faster than you can imagine.”“You are my moment, Leanna. If you’re here, I want to be right here with you. Every minute of every day.”

Kurt and Leanna polar opposites.
Kurt and Leanna are polar opposites of each other. He is methodical, tidy and doesn't allow any interruptions in his life. Leanna is a free spirit, doesn't know what road to follow and doesn't mind a bit of mess. When Kurt rescues her dog they form a bond and friendship that turns into a full blown romance. Bring in her best friends from Seaside and it makes for a lovely story that opposites do attract. Its also a great introduction to the next series involving the Seaside ladies. I have read the book several times and have also listened to it on Audible. Great narration by BJ Harrison.

I'm in love
Kurt Remington rescued Leanna Bray's dog Pepper from drowing. The minute the salt water cleared from their eyes these two are majorly attracted to each other and after a few times of meeting they agree to date. It's opposites attract with these two by they couldn't be more compatible. I'm totally in love with Kurt as he's the perfect alpha nerd who writes books and he helps Leanna with everything. 100% recommend this book.

complete opposites but 100% perfect for each other
Kurt and Leanna.... complete opposites but 100% perfect for each other.Kurt likes everything neat and tidy and just so whereas Leanna is the go with the flow kind of girl, incompatible right? Nope they are made for each other. They have a connection from the start, when Kurt helps her when she is in trouble.Leanna comes across as the confident upbeat girl but she does have her own insecurities that Kurt sees and helps her overcome.Another great book :)The ending of this book is perfect and leads into the Seaside Summers series. Cannot wait to read about Bella, Amy and Jenna and then all the other seaside characters.

This whole series has been a magical journey
Each brother/ sister event has been different and special. I do library duty for a homebound elderly lady who reads only sagas. Having followed this saga, I know why. Mark you I doubt my friend would appreciate the erotic content so it is unlikely she would follow this saga but I can and will, and will hundreds of other readers to enjoy!
