I like the wieght i think- here is why.
Yeah these things are heavy. But they are solid. Safety is always number one and these things bolted onto a 6 bolt Disck brake rim with a little red locktite are solid and will never break. If you ever bend one of these, you got bigger problems. The weight theory. I haven't tested with aluminum yet and i can understand why so many use them. Less rotating mass means higher rpms, etc. But there is a downside to that also. A heavy gear like this creates "rotating mass". It acts like a counter balancer like when you go thru a dip and its enough to change the rpm of the engine. I sorta tend to believe it helps reduce it and bring balance to drive train and engines. I think higher hp engines should look at these diffently. May actually increase engine longevity actually reducing the lug on it reduces wear also.I sanded it, painted it with 600 degree paint, and cooked it in the oven for an hour. Looks nice on bike with chrome bolts. just saying goat riders, be creative and express the culture. Be safe, it is number one priority. Stop looking for records and just enjoy.

Poor fitting quality
Product can't even fit a bicycle chain much less the original chain that came with my 49cc engine. This was a waste of money

44T sprocket is hot garbage... does NOT fit a 410/415 chain
First off, the only difference between a #415 and a #410 chain is the roller width. That is not the problem here. The 44T sprocket I ordered is a completed different pitch entirely, not 1/2 inch like the #415 chain it claims it will mesh with. It is a nicely machined part, but Completely inaccurate description. Also, it is made out of steel, keep that it mind if you have any weight concerns. it is heavy as all get out.
