Terrific Start for a New Spin-off Series!!
Welcome to a new roller-coaster of a ride from Patricia Logan! This is the first book in a spin-off series and things definitely start off with a "bang". Pope Dades is a LAPD Detective who is dealing with some serious crap from his fellow cops. Felix Jbarra is a DHS Investigator working undercover when he witnesses Dades latest "bang". The story is fast-paced, action packed and doesn't leave out the all-important romance. The "bad guy" story keeps things humming along, but it's the sparks and chemistry between Pope and Felix that keep the pages turning. There are LOADS of ups, downs and sideways in this story, it really is like a wild roller-coaster and while you want to know the "who, what, how, why and "oh, no she did not!", you also don't want it to end.I don't do spoilers, or rehash the entire plot (or surprises!), suffice it to say if you enjoy an action packed story, you should pick this up. Also, this note at the end of the blurb made me VERY happy:** Please Note**If you’ve read the Death and Destruction series, Lincoln Snow, McBride M. McCallahan, Jarrett Evans-Wolfe, and Thayne Evans-Wolfe also play ongoing roles in this new series. Never fear, Jarrett probably won’t be base jumping off any more buildings… probably. There is also a terrific teaser for the next book in the series and I can't wait to get my grabby hands on it!***Recommended***

Great story
Oh wow. What a read. Once I started and got into the story I couldn't put it down. There was an actual story between the sex, which was hot by the way. I had a few issues with Felix taking Pope along to his work, which I am sure in real life wouldn't happen. Also reuniting Bobby with his father was quite weird after all that had been revealed about their relationship. But all in all it was a great read, full of action, emotions and friendship. Good to know there are good cops in the LAPD. ;) Looking forward to read the next book since there seem to be some loose ends. While this isn't a cliffhanger, there are surely some questions left that need to be answered.

The start of Pope and Felix’s story
Pope is no longer happy being a police officer. Coming out to his partner resulted him being severely beaten. After months of rehab he’s back on the job, with no backup of any kind. The rampant homophobia at his station house is making his life an endless hell.Felix works for the Department of Homeland Security. His current case has him chasing child trafficking suspects. Felix and Pope have a hot hookup. Then they get embroiled in he same case.Good story, with a few new characters and a lot of familiar faces. I enjoyed it. Lots of action, hot cops/feds, and a few twists and turns I didn’t see coming. If you have liked the authors other series this one is just as good.

It was like 2 am and I was wide awake
The Thin Blue Line is the new series by Patricia Logan and holy moly!! I got the book right before I took a week off. I planned to lay out by the pool and READ!! Well...that didn't happen. I got it, started it and stayed up reading until my Kindle died. It was like 2 am and I was wide awake. Had to plug it in, hit 1% and then finished it!!! Pope and Felix.....where do I start? When a story can make me laugh ( shooting the car to make the air bag pop?? So funny) piss me off (ex-partner & Captain anyone?) make me kinda hot (the first time they had sex???) and then swoon I will follow and read ANYTHING this writer puts out. She's got me hooked. I can't wait till fall for the next installment. Read this series. You won't regret it.

Thin Blue Line 1
This was my second time to read this book as I prepare to read book 2. This was better the second time than the first. Pope and Felix are an up and coming couple and there is so much passion between them. I look forward to seeing their connection deepen as this series progresses. I also really enjoyed the mystery and suspense which balances the love story.

Great start
This is a wonderful start to this new series. Pope and Felix meet at a hook-up bar and become involved with each other from this point. I loved both guys and cannot wait to come along with their new adventures.

Loved it x
Well because I loved Ms Logan's D&D series I had to read this...Although I have to read all of her books.....Pope and Felix were just perfect together...Pope clearly needs someone to look out for him and watch his back...With all the homophobia going on at his work with his ex partner and his boss I was glad that he hit if off so quick with Felix...This book was done amazingly well and police books are quickly becoming my favourite...I can tell this series is going to be just as good as Death and Destruction...It was great getting a bit of Snow,Mac,Jarrett and Thayne and an seriously looking forward to the next in the series x

Hang on to your seat for great story from this author.
Oh a brilliant start for a new series. I loved the way this book started and the beginning scenes where Pope and Felix meet especially the second time they run into each other hehe. A fantastic storyline that is like the authors other series with Thayne and Jarrett. I loved SAC Fusco in this he's a badass leader and glad Issa gets pegged down a notch. Filled with romance, drama and danger and twists right to the ending of this. This had me glued as I kept reading to see what would happen next. I would've loved to see Preston get his punishment for what he'd done in this story to Pope.Detective Pope 32 yrs hates chasing crims down the street on his own. But he likes having no partner, this wasn't one of them times when knees telling him.Felix 25 yrs ex-marine corp was an undercover for the U.S ICE and Homeland security when he witnesses Pope in action.
