Edit update: Jar lasted about 6 weeks. Thought I would be ordering again when I first started with this product, it did make my hair softer, but the smell has completely turned me off. I used it all, but I don't think ill order again, just due to the heavy smell. It is terribly strong, like mens cologne that is old & expired, I can smell it two to three days, even after I've washed it.If it smelled clean- instead of like it does, id order it by the gallon... but Im going to be searching for something else unfortunately.---------------------- Ordered & Put this on my hair & kept it on with a plastic cap for about 20 mins each time as a deep conditioner. Used it 5 or 6 times now & half way through the jar so far...Did it give me that glassy looking hair in the commercial?- No- but I'm not 20 years old with great hair anymore, health, hormones & age have an impact on how our hair looks. Im 52 with medium long length hair so obviously not going to be as silky & beautiful as a younger ladies hair like we see in the commercial, *but it definitely made a huge noticeable improvement, Im still using the first jar & will more then likely order again. After using my hair was super soft & looked really pretty after I used it, then blow dried my hair straight, didn't have to use a flat iron, it looked nice without it... My husband even commented on how soft & straight it was.My only dislike & request for adjustment for this product would be the scent-- it smells like a strong heavy mens cologne, & even can still smell it in my hair after I have shampooed the next day or two when I've washed afterwards. Even questioned myself & went back to look if there was a option to order a women's product vs. a mens product due to the scent?Did not find one.I love the results, but not fond of how it smells, Made sure to inform my husband first time i used it after I got out of the shower, due to the strong scent-- didn't want him wondering WTH??? thinking I smelled like mens cologne for questionable reasons?!! i may try & add something of a essential oil that smells more clean or fresh, or of a more feminine smell to it, I find myself avoiding to use it every day, just due to the smell it leaves & lingers afterwards for a couple of days, That part of it is undesirable for certain.

This has a terrible perfume smell like men’s deodorant that’s too strong. It also is not even a good a hair mask compared to store-bought ones let alone what it claims to do . I noticed no difference than if I used my regular every day conditioner. UPDATED - i’m going to change my one star to a three after a couple of days I would have to say my hair is softer overiand the smell lighter. It is really strong the first several hours after using. Perhaps if they didn’t make such high claims in their advertisements and just said what it really did people wouldn’t be disappointed with the purchase.

I'm a hairdresser and I lighten all of my hair so, I always use treatments and heavy conditioners (creme rinses). I've used and tried many many regular drugstore and professional treatment products and it can actually be hard to find actual great ones that will give me that silky, untangled and smooth affect for damaged hair! My hair isn't overly damaged but, with the drynss bc all my hair is lightened and having a little wave, its always knotty after washing so I put a lot of product in to help comb the knots out and to tame flyaways. With this, I don't have to use as much... which I'm very pleased with bc I spend a lot of money on my fav products so i don't have to go through it so fast!! Now, just a lil fyi... rinse or shampoo with warmer water, try to squeeze out as much water as you can, then apply this and either finger through or comb through so the product is applied more thoroughly.... then keep in for 5 or more minutes, then rinse with cool water! Warm/hot water opens cuticles which will allow product to soak deeper into cuticles, then the cool water does the opposite... closes them, which will basically kinda trap that product in, but it also smoothes those hair strands. When cuticles are opened... Think of it as a caterpillar .. it looks more frayed, and when the cuticles close those lil frays close up and the hair shaft looks smooth! Just a tip to share lol!! It's the same kinda idea with our pores!! This is why we add heat with some treatments and lightening... to absorb better!

I used this product this morning. My hair is permed and dry and frizzy from the perm. I washed it, towel dried it, combed the product through and left on for 5 minutes, then rinsed. It is definitely softer, smoother, feels more silky, and I have less frizz this morning. I think with a couple more treatments, it will look better. It smells wonderful and easy to use. I did not get the results showed in the video, but I do have favorable results.

Used this on my thick dark brown hair that's been color treated so it's pretty dry. It does smooth my hair and "tames" the frizzies without flattening it. Still has body and curls with an iron. It is not a straightening solution. My hair is still full bodied. Like it a lot. The smell is not as appealing as I would like it and it takes longer to blow dry hair which makes me wonder about the chemicals. But I dye my hair so I can't be all that worried about chemicals lol. 4 stars since it doesn't smooth my hair 100%.
