Spectacular in Every Way
Mine was priced at 699.77 and the listing said it was new, from Electronics Expo, however this seller has "Used-Like New" units available for the same price. When it arrived and I was unboxing it, it certainly resembled a brand -spanking- new product. All of this was confusing. Furthermore, the "Source" indicator blinks intermittently during playback of analog signals. I believe it's detecting analog input levels. No blinking on the digital sources. This is not a biggie because I've owned amps that had a blinking indicator. The amp is far and away better than anything I've owned. (This includes Nad, Arcam, Rega, Denon, Marantz, Cambridge, Anthem, and Rotel). The audio press and YouTubers got it right. The sound- stage is wide and presentation is enormous. Stereo symmetry with speakers toed in or facing ahead is flawless. A floating bass presence fills out out the low end of your music: It's a hint of power in reserve to remind the listener of it's real world capability. The musical detail is full, refined, clear, vibrant, and clean. This amp astounds day after day.At the regular price of a grand, it's a bargain.

Outstanding Sound Quality
This unit produces a remarkably refined music experience. The sound is open and spacious, and produces an enviable soundstage.I have it paired with its matching CD transport, and the internal DAC sounds great.I also use it with a Cambridge CXN V2 which also sounds great.I’ve been experimenting with using the CXN’s pre-amp feature with which I use the “power amp only” mode on the 3000.Review System:My system is currently comprised of the three units listed in my review, as well as a pair of Martin Logan 35XTi speakers on good stands positioned with the baffles about 1 meter from the wall.Analog interconnects and speaker cables are Kimber (braided), and the digital cables are by Audioquest.I would not hesitate to recommend this unit. It drives the 4 ohm Martin Logan’s with ease. The ability to use it in so many ways (integrated, pre-only, power only, internal DAC, external DACs, etc) makes this unit easy to expand and grow your audiophile system around.Kudos to Audiolab!

Highly recommended...
Over the past couple of years, I've bought several Audiolab6000A integrated amps and paired them with Audiolab6000CDT's in a variety of speaker arrangements. All of the Audiolab devices arrived in perfect condition and all of them have performed flawlessly. Therefore, I'm recommending the Audiolab6000A (and the CDT) based upon multiple copies and years of use in a variety of configurations without a single glitch.Be warned, however...Because I'd had such good experiences with these devices, I also bought multiple copies of the Audiolab6000N streamers, which, unfortunately, proved to be a huge, expensive, mistake. The streamers look similar, seem well constructed and sound good but the incompetently designed computer interface has rendered them so unreliable I do not even use them. So, I got seriously burned by my careless assumption that the company's products would all manifest the same level of quality. Not so...

Was fine while it worked..
Sounded great. Very clear, tight bass, sweet mids and highs.. Just like in all of the reviews. Except when you turn it off and come home after work to turn it back on and it doesn't respond. Tried with the remote.. Nothing. Tried with the power button on front of unit and nothing. Then decided to power off the main switch on the back of unit and switch it back on. Then the unit would power on with the remote. Apparently, did some research afterwards just to find out that this is a known issue.. After reading that, unhooked it, packed it back up and sent it on its marry way for a full refund.. Apparently Audiolab, another greedy company that puts stuff out, marks it up and doesn't care that their products have glitches and do absolutely nothing to alleviate the situation.. That will be the last Audiolab product I ever purchase again. Have the audacity to charge over a grand for a knowingly flawed product and not even care. Never again.

Superb Sound Stage
The AL6000A IA was purchased to run a two speaker stereo set up in my bedroom using Bluetooth (iPhone) and digital (TV) inputs. The stereo imaging and sound stage are superb. For my configuration it is ideal. The filter options (slow, phase, fast) at the most only makes a very subtle difference in the sound characteristics. This IA is best for an experienced listener who understands it has only one set of speaker outputs and no tone controls. At the end of the day the sound quality is superb and totally overshadows these constraints. I knew the second I first heard it that the IA is excellent. It is not fussy about speakers. Use ELAC, Magnepan, and NHT all with good results. Five stars highly recommend.

Amazing value for under a grand
I have been in the audio world for years, bought equipment and sold equipment. So I have a wide range of brands I know. Audiolab was new to me, but wow just clean powerful sound. Excellent dac built in I compared it to some great measuring dacs and I can't tell a difference. Plus the remote I large high quality and easy to use. This has opened my mind up to other products that audiolab has. It drives my kef bookshelf's and now my paradigm floorstanders with ease. Clean tight detailed bass, no harsh highs. Very impressed.

Consigliato.
