EMSASamba, Quick Press, Vacuum Insulated Thermal Carafe, 34 oz, Translucent Black

This is my 2nd Emsa carafe over 15 years. These carafes are well worth the money. The coffee stays hot most of the day. I love love love it.

This is thermal hot/cold thermos pitcher is excellent. Made in Germany was a nice surprise and it shows in the quality of the product. I also don't find those ugly seams you see on some plastic items either. Love the push button on the top to dispense your liquid so you don't even have to unscrew the top and or let the heat out. I got this because I only have one person who drinks coffee and a whole carafe can get rather strong after sitting for a while then if you turn coffee pot off, you wind up having to microwave to heat it up again which amounts to the same thing. Now I can brew the coffee or tea and immediately pour into this server turning of the coffee maker which will extend the life of that appliance and keep the coffee hot and fresh tasting for a long time. In fact, I made a pot yesterday and didn't drink but a cup and I just now while writing this review thought I would go check and see if the coffee is still possibly warm 24 hrs later and it was! Now I'm not forced to drink a whole pot of coffee asap or throw it away.

This is by far the best carafe I have ever used!!! I want to get another one for other beverages or just in case the company ever goes out of business and my first ones wears out. It keeps hot beverages hot for up to two days!!! It is stylish too...I have it in black! It cleans up nicely with just warm soapy water and I haven't noticed stains or odors even when I have had coffee in it for 2 days. I have even kept just hot water in it for hot cocoa or tea, and I haven't notice any leftover "coffee" flavor in the plain water. It really helps to pre-heat the carafe with hot water and then put the hot beverage in it. I highly recommend this purchase and with the price....what a deal!

Really nice, but it (like most others) doesn't hold a standard pot of coffee. Most people today have a 10 cup drip maker and even if you take a cup for yourself before pouring into server you still have 2-4 cups in glass carafe. Aside from this I like it a lot. The top button is easy to press and coffee comes out at a decent rate but not so quick you are likely to spill. It does really slow down when you are getting the last bit out of it, and it might be easier to just take top off.Sorry I didn't do the "how long does it stay hot" thing. It keeps it sufficiently hot for our uses which is a few hours.I gave it a 4/5 for the simple fact it can't hold a standard 10 cup drip maker pot of coffee.

My husband drinks regular coffee and I drink decaf. Every morning, whoever got to the kitchen first would make their choice in the coffeepot, and the second one down usually settled for instant. So now with the handy dandy carafe, the first pot goes into the carafe, and another pot can be made in the coffeemaker. Coffee made at 6:30 AM is still very hot in the carafe 6 hours later! I ordered this carafe after looking at the dozens available because I just liked the look of it. It looks just as nice as the picture. I'm thinking these carafes would make nice gifts. Hum, I'll have to remember that come Christmas time.

Was looking for a small carafe that wouldn't standout when on the counter. Got for the black one. Also wanted one that would be easy to fill and clean and keep the coffed at a good temperature. This one fits the needs well. Like the glass liner since it does clean easy and doesn't stain. The old carafe had a stainless steel liner and stained after a couple of years. This is small and only holds about eight cups of coffee. Seems to hold the temperature well. Hard to say how long since we go through at least a couple pots in the morning. Overall a good little carafe for the size and money

I love it. The reviews were very good on this one. I see alot of what I feel are fake reviews. It is easy to clean Unscrew bottom & bulb comes out so there is 4 pieces. The bulb, bottom, top, & canister. It keeps coffe hot for hours. I just wish i had gootten 2. Now it is 32-34 ounces so maybe small for some but has been just right the 5 times I've used it, though once had to make a fresh pot. I have not used it for cold tea (reason for 2nd), but feel if keeps hot should keep cold, but not for hours but 2-3 it should. Now I know Emsa says 10 hours hot & 16 hours cold but that a long, long time & I feel coffe & tea would bitten sitting that long.But 2-3 hours, I beleive would be fine.

Positive features: I like the design of the carafe. The easy pour lid is a really good feature as compared to having to remove it every time I want to pour more coffee into my cup. Negative feature: The entire outer body of the carafe is of plastic material, and could burn, or melt if placed to closely to a heat source.
