Nope.
The media could not be loaded. Itโs set to hold a phone, but itโs not strong enough to hold it. The weight of it pulls my helmet down regardless of I use the strap or the mount. The video you get from it is great, but very uncomfortable. Canโt really record/stream my face with it looking like I had a stroke.

Pretty good - for the right use
I mounted this to a helmet. Didn't even bother with the head strap thing. I wanted to make a thermal night vision system using an old iPod touch 5th gen and flir one thermal camera. For that purpose, it works great. You can focus on the thermal when you need to, then look away once you have identified heat generating bodies. The iPod doesn't really get in the way, except right in the very center. You could easily wear this around and look at the iPod, and then back at your surrounding, comfortably, as far as you eyes are concerned. However, the iPod touch 5th gen is a pretty lightweight device. And even with that, if you bump something, the iPod falls a little from the joint connected to the helmet. It's just too long of a lever arm. If you are using a larger device, it's going to have a tough time holding it up, unless there is very little movement. I'm not deducting stars for that, because obviously that is what is going to happen. Before I bought the device I thought it would, and I'm actually surprised at how static it is. So I'm adding a star, not taking one away. I thought it was going to be much worse.Let's be honest, you're buying this for one thing, and one thing only, the extension arm in the middle. You probably already have everything else in this kit. And the extension arm is high quality. It's very well made. Yeah it's going to be wobbly, but if you didn't figure that out from the picture, that's your problem, not the products problem. This thing will not defy the laws of physics. Sticking a 9 inch cantilever lever arm, with an eight ounce weight at the end, and supporting it with a one inch, smooth plastic, rotatable joint is going to be a little wobbly. That being said, it's not nearly as bad as I feared it would be. It's pretty good. For looking at pictures and night vision video, the distance is fine for viewing. However, when I tried to read text, it a little too close and a little too blurry. I put on a set of reading glasses, and it cleared right up. You may need a set of bifocals or to wear a pair of reading glasses on your nose.Again with the lever arm issue, it's going to put some strain on your neck. The whole point is so that you can keep your head up, but having a phone on a 9 inch lever pulling your head down causes strain. It's a lot of torque. But just think about how jacked you're going to get if you wear this thing for 1/2 hour per day.It looks ridiculous. There is no way you are going outside without getting made fun of...unless of course you have a moustache like in the ad. With a moustache that cool, there is no way anyone is going to laugh at you. But seriously, if you can't figure out it's going to look ridiculous from the ad, once again, that's your problem. If you're looking at this, and on the fence about it, just get it. This is exactly the kind of thing people who look at this stuff buy.

Not good enough.
It's shakes the phone a lot. Very uncomfortable to use. Especially if you have a big phone. The clamp that holds the phone is not good.

Somewhat short, difficult to focus on phone screen
Works alright as a selfie video cam mount, and includes a piece that allows you to mount it on a curved surface like a bike helmet; however, it's somewhat short and can be hard to focus on with your eyes (I have good vision). I was thinking that I could mount my phone to monitor the picture from my video camera while operating the camera, but it's difficult to switch focus from the field to your phone.

Donโt do it. ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ ๐
Cheap, flimsy and bo steadiness whatsoever from the slightest movement... Just trash!

Has to be worn under a hat
Good product for a fair price. You will have to wear the harness on your head and then put a tight fitting adjustable baseball hat on over it to keep it in position. If you donโt the phone will pull down the harness and it will push the bottom into your forehead.I have a concern about how tight the mount at the boom arm has to be to keep the phone still as a similar mount on a Hero 2 cracked from tightening but the fact that this one has a wrench tends to make me believe the plastic is hard enough to take itWe shall see

One Star
Too heavy, and too close to your face for proper viewing.
