I just hung up 33 pants and sweats and am very delighted. The old hangers I had were the metal ones with with thick foam covering and was getting tired of the plastic lock wedge breaking. The old hangers are 1 inch thick at the foam and at the locking wedge. These are 1/2 inch thick if you stagger the clip locations so that they nest. That turns out to double the the hanging space for my slacks. I will note that the backside of the clips are sharp and rough and should have been deburred during manufacturing but I did not cut myself even though I did try to see how easy it was to cut my finger. If you are really worried buy a roll of electrical tape and wrap a few layers around each side of the clip but in my opinion it is not really necessary. All in all they seem to be well made (except for the noted rough edge on the backside of the holding clips) and should last a long while. The clips are also more than adequate to hold the thickest sweat pants.All in all I am very satisfied with them.

Did not like that they do not hang evenly when nothing is being hung on them on closet rack.

This is my second time buying these hangers, and I love them! They are good quality, have not rusted, and properly hold up my clothing. These hangers work well for clothing of various materials and I even shared some with my friends. Very giftable as a practical staple.

These hangers are extremely sleek and fit well within your closet however they are not very sturdy or made for heavy items such as jeans. If you are looking to save space and hang skirts or slacks that are not heavy or thick material these will do the job.

Okay let's just throw this out there I'm a slob. If there's one thing I have problems with it's my laundry and my clothes. These are game changer. I hung up all my pants on my skirts. I have all my shirts on one side and all my pants on the other side and now I have order in my house at least my closet LOL. By these by these I didn't find any problems with weakness in the clips.

The piece in the center of the hanger is very sharp—I cut my finger on the edge. Should be properly filed to a smooth edge, do not recommend.
