Casio Alarm Clock TQ-228-1, Black

I love this alarm clock for so many reasons. It's the second one I bought. The numbers are large enough to be visible to the near-sighted. Having a second hand allows you to instantly spot when the battery is dead. However, it only needs to be changed about once a year. Furthermore, it's not an all or nothing issue. You will eventually notice that it's ten minutes or so too slow -- time to change the battery. I love that I can take it anywhere and don't need to worry if the power goes out. My favorite thing about this clock is that it wakes you gently. Its beeping is very soft at first, gradually getting louder and the beeps are more frequent. If I want to sleep another 20 minutes, it's easy to reset the time. It's not illuminated, but I like that. It only takes up a small space on my night stand.

Great Clock! Easy to read dial. Quiet movement. On/Off alarm switch on top of clock. No snooze nor lighted dial, but you're able to see the dial #'s and hands in the dark. Cresendo beeping alarm. Not really a "travel" alarm clock IMO as it is larger than I expected which is a good. Well-built and very reasonable priced. Just be aware this clock's designation 1DF has a black case not white as pictured. EITHER would be just fine considering these clocks may not be made any longer by Casio. So, order while available. (I just ordered another one!) Casio makes either a "beep" or "bell" alarm clock, make sure you order the one that suits you the best. (I'm used the beep/beeping alarm so that what's what I ordered.) The luminous hands only glow for a very short time.I do not recommend this product.

This is a small alarm, but loud enough to wake you up.

Everything, Casio Brand that lasts forever, nice design, perfect size.

The glow for night time is non existent, it glows for maybe 1/2 hour if you've used a high power flashlight to energize the glow material but even with that it then is out in 1/2 hour. They should not advertise it as a glow in the dark clock.

Su funcionamiento es correcto. Lo compré para ver la hora por la noche y no es posible, debe estar a la luz para que aguante el reflectante y tener que encender la luz para poder verlo no era lo que yo esperaba.

Me salio al realizar una búsqueda de despertador con números grandes, ya que es para una persona mayor. Mi error fue no mirar las dimensiones ya que es relativamente pequeño. Por lo demás esta bien.
