3-4 lbs Male locators
I normally have to get these from my dentist, so that would be a partial office visit plus markup. I have the tool to put it into the receiving part and works great. I appreciate this company, as there was a time that only dentists could buy these.

Take charge of your dental needs.
For some reason my dentist did not put any locators in my over denture with three implants. After researching I found that I needed these. Once I did it was a new ballgame for my dentures. They fit so much better and finally realized why I went through all the trouble of getting implants. At first I was disappointed because the fit was bad and needed a ton of adhesive. After getting several different types of these to find the right fit myself and save hundreds of dollars doing this myself. I am very happy now. Get the tool to put these in and take charge of your dental health. Thank Zest dental for the videos to show me how to do this.

Fraction of the Dentist office cost
I’ve been buying these for about 5 years now , I also bought the tool to remove the old ones and insert the new ones I have saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars on these, they just wear out and I can’t see any difference in replacing these much sooner at a huge cost savings, as long as you can buy the tool too. I’d suggest getting these otherwise you’re gonna ruin your fittings trying to get the old ones out without the tool so in one purchase I bought the tool and four replacements for less than the dentist office charged just to install one replacement on one side, which requires two each time I replace them

Time saver
I decided to try these instead of having to goto the dentist everytime I had one wear out. I bought the removal/install tool earlier due to posts coming lose, and also trying to avoid so many trips to the dentist. The tool and these inserts are definitely life savers. They put the spare time back in my pocket. The dentist charges 20 bucks per insert replaced. This way is cheaper as well. The only thing I advise is change one insert at a time, and try the retention on just one, before you change the others. Mainly because you or myself are not professionals and judging the pound of retention rate may be challenging for some. And removing with only one insert changed will be a lot easier than trying to pull all at the same time. I personally like a heavier retention. It seems more secure when chewing and eating, and they don’t move nearly as much. However, 4-5 pound retention is a lot if you have arthritis or bad fingers or joints. Zest makes a tool that makes pulling them easier though. You can find it on Amazon as well.

great price
If you're unlucky enough to need these, this is the place to get them. It's half, or less, of what the dentist will charge for the same item. In fact, the dentist who told me about this orders his supply from Amazon.

They finally worked!
Tried every color under the rainbow for my dads implants... the clear ones as he’d wear before but somehow they were no longer holding. The purple ones, black, even took him to the dental lab and had the tech place the correct locators (or so we thought) which were also clear from another brand & got charged $200 for four!!!! Two weeks later his dentures started popping out again. Got desperate and started doing a little online research for the reason... The extended range seems like a better fit for those who don’t have the best oral hygiene and get food particles stuck around their implants.Extended Range Male's pivoting action allows for insertion with up to 40º total divergence. If the divergence of any implant is between 10 degree and 20 degrees, use the Extended Range Replacement Male (green = 3-4lbs) which can accommodate a divergent implant up to 20 degrees (40 degrees between implants). If you’re having the same issues as my father did I would suggest giving this a shot to see if it resolves it as it did with ours.

Exact same locator my doctor uses!
If you purchase the appropriate tool and retention caps, you'll save SO MUCH MONEY. I changed then myself very easily. Just have to know exactly what implant system you have. I got stuck with the wrong caps the first time. I suggest buy the slightly more expensive locator tool and pop 1 out to see exactly what you have before buying. I literally spent 70$ yesterday to have 2 locators replaced. It was only because I needed new metal housing. It's something that must be done by a professional occasionally. But for 130$ you can get 20 retention caps. 95$ for the tool to switch them. Definitely worth the small investment when it's gonna save me 600-900$ a year.
