The Bake Shop: An Amish Marketplace Novel, Book 1

I loved the storyline. I was in love with all the characters. The best part was at the end how Dat asked both Jeff and Christiana for forgiveness and admitted he was wrong.

I really like the author of this book.

loved the storyline and easy reading. Amy Clipston's books are always easy to read and not want to put down. I can picture the sceans all the way through the book. I'm looking forward to reading the next on in the series.

I wanted to finish this book to find out what happened to the characters. However, for being in their late 30's, they seemed immature to me. The plot twists were quite melodramatic. I've read other authors who write Amish books that I liked better, so I'll stick with those for now.

Such a good book I read it in one day, it follows the typical Amish way of life however there is a twist, you don’t see coming.I really got upset at Christiana father for being so stubborn.

This is my first Amish romance (?) and I loved it. I have grown out of my smutty romance books and have been dipping my toe in cozy mysteries. But this is a new genre I’m looking forward to exploring more.

A wonderfully written story about Amish goodies and love. Any Clipston has introduced another set of characters who pull you in. I really wish I had cousins that were close friends like the main character has. I’m excited to read the next novel in the series!

I enjoyed reading The Bake Shop. It is truly a great book to read. I cried when I thought her Father wasn't going to let them be together. A real tear jerker for sure.

I had read this already, but wanted to add it to my set.

I am hoping it was just a fluke but the book was unreadable. More than half the book had gaps down the middle as shown in the photo attached.Not too happy as this was sent as a gift to my grandmother and I had to then go through the hassle to mail back an item that is unusable.
