Learning made fun
A fantastic value for money item. The electronic voice is very clear and easy to understand. It comes with plenty of cards to insert, helping the children with the everyday items that they see to learn about.

Size is good but the touch pads are tough to press.
**Size comparison with my 9 month old**When pressing it you have to put quite abit of pressure on the buttons to make it work.

Read review if you are buying this instead of a tablet
So I have a young kid, to be honest hes under the age bracket by a whole year, I bought this due to the annoyance with tablets (touching edges causes options to pop up, the back buttons are far too easy to brush against, i don't want something emitting light i'd much rather a passive thing)I recently impulse bought a leapfrog 100 words from Tesco and was amazed by the quality of the floating sensor (really easy to press as its detecting the presence of your finger without contact needed) and I thought wow kids toys have come on a long way since i was a kid, I looked for a tablet-esk computer that would solve all my problems with actual tablets, and this was there with great reviewsIts terrible. the sheet can come sliding out with the slightest sideways pressure, and the force i, a grown man, needed to press the things on the pad caused mild finger annoyance, it's one of the few things i have refunded.changing cards needs you to press a button, it doesn't automatically assume you want to have feedback from pressing stuff after (you would need to press learn mode) all in all it was just designed by people with sub par product dev skills, I have no idea how it won so many awards.as said i'd recommend something like the leapfrog 100 word things even if its English/french, the interface is so much better and the product is well thought out.

Not helpful for speech delay
I do really like this product and think it is a very helpful tool. I brought it as my son (3yrs) has speech delay. Perhaps if he didn't I may be less disappointed. The voice over is American its rooster not Cockerell, barn not stables- very small problem but frustrating if you buy it for reasons just as mine. The activity sheets provided are varied yet scratched easily from day one, there is no storage on the toy to keep the sheets so be mindful of losing them, may I suggest using an elastic band to keep everything together. The activityRange from transport, to farm animals and shapes, To telling time. If well cared for I'm sure this product can last long enough to wait till you're child is ready to tell time, other than that it's a short lived activity for speech delay which made it a waste of money. Its very easy for children and adults to use and volume control is great. I brought it thinking it had alot of options, assuming they would be all age related. Perhaps siblings with age difference could work together with this tool. I also brought it thinking it looked durable which so far is proving to be the case, I am certainly happy about that. I do think it's a lovely gift and a child can play independently or as a family activity a quality I love in a toy. However, if speech delay is your reason for purchasing this toy I personally have not found it help ful and I hope others have a better experience than us.

Cards
I bought this for my son for his 3rd birthday and his birthday is in October and at Christmas i bought him his first tablet but my so seems to prefer this one which is great. The only problem is that there's nowhere on the pad to put you cards to slot it so you have to carry them in a separate bag which was helpful also the cards need to really be looked after as the pictures will start coming off in places depending on how much they a used and they just go white this can happen fast too. Other than the cards losing their colour though and a place on the pad to hold cars its a great little thing for young kids .y son has learnt all the names of things and he loves doing the quiz thats on most card. Would definitely recommend even though the cards do rub because hes had so much fun with it and learnt alot from it and still is playing with it
