After a snafu with the original order, a replacement was promptly sent to me. The thermostat is what the OEM uses, so I expect many, many years of service out of this.

Needs Gasket Part works Great
Installation was simple. The package came pretty banged up, but the part wasn't damaged. It fit perfectly and without any issues. It does NOT come with a gasket. I would recommend getting the same brand AISIN gasket, which is what I did, and it fit perfectly. I haven't had any issues after install the temp gauge is working correctly now and keeping the coolant at optimal temperature.

A Great alternative to oem
"What such high quality at an affordable price! It's the same quality as OEM, but at a lower price. Please do not buy the cheap, unbranded ones just to save a few dollars; think about the long term instead. Paying only 10-15 dollars for a high-quality one is far better than buying a cheap one that won't last long. The only con I noticed is the exclusion of the gasket; you need to buy it separately."

Aisin or nothing
Delivered on time and is to OE standard for those of you who don’t know, Aisin, is the OE manufacturer for Toyota when it comes to water pumps and thermostats. Great quality. Gasket needs to be purchased separately. I would recommend Aisin above Gates, etc when it comes to this particular part. Also, if you’re changing the water pump you might as well change the thermostat as well so you don’t have to refill the coolant twice.
