As Miss Beelzebub Likes, Vol. 5 (As Miss Beelzebub Likes, 5)

Anything that was in the animé adaptation goes all the way up to here. While there art is adorable as ever and there is good development on Sargatanas' part, the development we saw in Bel and Beel is muted for too many filler characters in this volume's chapters. Matoba is a knowledgeable demonologist, but in showing off as many new admirable expressions as she can, the relationships that carried the previous volumes are back seated. That doesn't detract from the new characters, but I could have taken or left a few to build on our main ones.
