RaceQuip 355 Series SFI 3.3/5 Two Layer Racing Gloves

Just bought gloves, elastic seams aren't at the same level, making one glove very uncomfortable. Are all gloves like this, or is this a defect?

Tried on a large pair and felt tight. are slightly loose glives ok for racing? thinking of going th xl
