Journeying Between the Worlds: Walking with the Sacred Spirits Through Native American Shamanic Teachings & Practices

Finally a Native American shamanism book that is applicable and easy to understand
NOTE: I personally know Eagle Skyfire, because I am going through her one-on-one, long-distance mentoring program. This book is everything I've looked for in a Native American shamanism book. As an agnostic, this has been the only book on "spirituality" that I have not needed 'blind faith' for, because as I try her exercises, everything she states will happen has happened. And I love that she WANTS me to test the information and not just believe the it just because she says so, which gives her more credibility in my humble opinion.Though I do recommend her mentoring program in tandem with the book. I always have a lot of questions, and she is able to answer them when we video-chat during her mentoring sessions. She also walks me through some of the exercises from the book and helps me to understand the difference between my imagination vs actual journeying. I've only had three mentoring sessions with her thus far, and already my world has changed as I am now seeing (and experiencing) layers that I had never known before. The book is a perfect textbook for her mentoring program, but it definitely stands on its own.If you know that there's something bigger than this world but don't know what, I highly recommend giving this book a chance.

A great starter book for Red Path practices
This was a good book to read and a good way to learn different practices of journeying and how to connect with other Realms in Spiritual Beings. I know I will come back to and refer to this book often. You will not be a shaman after reading this book but you will understand many of the principles and have a basic overview of different paths one may take.

This book is an offering to understand Native American Spirituality and the sacred teachings..
This book by Eagle Skyfire is an excellent opportunity to venture into the sacred practices of Native American Shamanism. It is comprehensive in my opinion but also easy to understand. It also offers the opportunity to honor and have insight into these sacred practices..

This is not a guide book, but an eye opening experience.
Eagle tells the story of the path of a Shaman. It is a peek into the process, a life long learning curve. I enjoyed it very much, and am looking forward to her next book!

Just another Astral travel book
I should have guessed by the name of the book that it would be just Astral travel stuff repeated with Native trappings. I guess that's good for some people but it is not what I was looking for. It seems very simplistic to say the least .

easy and respectful
The author has experience from different Native cultures and from the "modern" world. She writes in an easy and pleasant style, leads the reader through each element of shamanism in a simple manner. I really love the respect she shows for both the cultures she describes, the living beings around us and the shamanic worlds.
